We stayed in the Sage cottage for three nights. This was our third wine region cottage in SA and while the cottage didn't have the romance of some of the others, in terms of features and little extras, it really stood out.

Great location close to Angaston and central to wineries in the Barossa. Breakfast provisions were generous and delicious, the bottle of wine, cake, fudge, port etc were all noted and appreciated.

My only criticism is that the cottage was a little cold - the heater didn't work that well and there was no additional kindling provided for the fire after the first night. Otherwise, though, this cottage was a wonderful place to stay in a truly beautiful area.

We recently stayed at Rose cottage for 5 nights and can thoroughly reccommend it. The cottage is well set up, clean and comfortable. We were 2 couples and found it was quite big enough for all of us. Roxannes hospitality is amazing! When we arrived the heating and fire were on, there were enough breakfast provisions for 10 people and there was a fresh home baked cake. Not to mention the home baked bread and home made jam, all of which were delicious. The chickens kept us well supplied with eggs for the stay. They live in the garden behind the cottage and seemed to appreciate a visit with some of our food scraps! It is a pleasant walk fom the cottage into Angaston, which has good places to eat. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our first B and B experience and im worried it might be all down hill from here.
The cottage was wonderful and very well appointed ( no cheap appliances in sight).
Very clean and with more little details than we could have hoped for, your choice of a roaring fire or reverse cycle, a huge spa and even bigger towels, excellent and abundant breakfast provisions including home made bread and the best bacon we have tasted ( local of course).
The cottages are close to the main street and a short trip from some wonderful attractions, our weekend included 1918 restaurant, Maggie Beers Farm Shop, Saltrams and Yalumba wineries, roaring 40's cafe' and the local cheese shop which were all wonderful.
But best of all was the service and attention to detail from roxanne, which made us feel welcome and really made our weekend. Thankyou Roxanne.

Roxane, what an experience! Thanks so much for your warm hospitality, heavenly goodies - best bread I've ever had - and everything right at our doorstep. I can't thank you enough. We had the best time in the beautiful Barossa and it is all thanks to you! Will definitely be back very soon!

We stayed in Rose Cottage for 3 nights. It was $220 per night with breakfast provisions included. The cottage which was lovely and clean presents beautifully and has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. We were so comfortable being able to spread out after a number of days in hotel rooms. The cottage is nicely furnished with good quality furnishings and soft furnishings,

One could rave on about this place. The complimentary bottle of wine, enough port for each night, apple pies, chocolates and the generous amount of provisions for breakfast, These included bacon, eggs (fresh from the chickens up the back), sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, yoghurt, ground coffee, milk and fruit juice in the fridge. In the cupboards were cereal, baked beans, pancake mix, a wide range of condiments, tea and coffee (just some of what is provided). Washing powder was provided, As were alfoil and gladwrap. Plenty of cooking utensils. In fact everything you might need.

Am I raving - probably but this was a great place to stay. We decided to dine in each night as we were just so comfortable, We just went to Schultz Butchers and Foodland and bought enough for our 3 nights. Washed it down with wine we purchased at the vineyards.

Roxanne is lovely and made sure we had everything we needed.

I highly recommend Country Pleasures B&B. Our stay there made our holiday in SA special.

Thank you for your lovely comments about Country Pleasures. It is always nice to know that people enjoyed themselves at my property. As a newcomer to this industry following in the footsteps of a very experienced operator, it means a lot to me that people take the time to comment

This bed and breakfast was a real find. Everything we could possibly want was already waiting for us upon arrival. It was a short walk into Angaston and all the pleasures of the Barossa were a short drive away. Come to think of it, why venture too far away from Country Pleasures B and B at all?

Really quite delightful. Little lavender sprigs on the towels, roses from the garden in a vase, home baked bread, home made fig, lemon & ginger jam, fresh basil, eggs from the chickens in the backyard, abundant provisions, impeccably clean. It's the little touches that make this faux old cottage feel very homely and welcoming. Very quiet, pretty garden, good quality kitchen and facilities, this isn't your average b&b. Well done Roxanne.
