Mama Mia...!! This was a real surprise find, hidden away in one of the arcades of Redcliffe. So far, we've eaten twice at this restaurant and each time the food has been cooked to perfection. The first time I ate a seafood marinara and it was the best seafood marinara that I have ever eaten, served with an abundance of fresh seafood. The menu changes each time so the next time I chose duck with fennel and the duck was so beautifully cooked. It was so tasty and tender that it just fell off the bone. I eat a gluten free diet and most of the menu can be adapted to suit. It's a simple restaurant in a very relaxed atmosphere. It is run by a husband and wife team who provide very friendly service. No rushing you out of the door. Bring a bottle of wine and take your time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It is certainly now a favourite of mine.

We had a wonderful dinner at this delightful family style Italian restaurant, hidden away in Comino's arcade. The food was superb. Simple, fresh and absolutely delicious. So good we booked it for a birthday party a couple of weeks later. Carla arranged a special menu and went to a lot of trouble to create dishes for some of our friends with special dietary needs. The evening was a delight, with lots of fun and laughter. I can't think of a better place to enjoy true Italian family hospitality.
The fact it is quite small makes it more personal and enjoyable and keeping the menu short and simple ensures everything is fresh and tasty.
We intend to become regulars.

We returned to What's in the Pot to celebrate their First Year, and had a lovely evening. Carla and Florrie and crew had set up a lovely long table, so we got to meet people we didn't know, and get up for the many courses of delicious food that was served. The servings were generous - we could help ourselves and the flavours were gorgeous. I loved the cannelloni, so beautiful and light. Of course the evening was full of hugs and well wishes amongst all the diners, all coming to thank Carla for her wonderful food - this restaurant is basic but has a big heart and a lovely atmosphere and the food is simple and yum.

The atmosphere is nice, the staff are friendly, the food is tasty but the menu choices are severely limited. If you want a good selection to choose from this won't be the place for you. What is served is delicious but I have to wonder if the restaurant can handle a full house.
