Brick is a lovely surprise in Redcliffe. Have been there for Brunch, Lunch and Dinner, and looking forward to my next visit.
My friends and I are working our way through the menu. The food is fresh and interesting, compared to the mass produced alternatives offered along Redcliffe Parade. Really good wine list, and each occasion has been a relaxed and happy dining experience, both inside and outside. We found the staff friendly and attentive, and great service, even on occasions when Brick was really busy. Brilliant location , and well worth the drive up to the Peninsula.
I read with amused interest the review "horrible". Really?? Aside from the grammatical errors, maybe this reviewer should stay with dining at McDonalds, and free up tables at Brick for those of us who prefer fresh, interesting, tasty real food, well presented, by friendly attentive staff.
Love the dessert menu as well.
Well done Brick, see you again very soon. Cheers!

Just discovered Brick by chance last weekend , what a lovely experience, can't fault it - the best thing about it is that the food is very fresh, and the people are so friendly - we will definitely be back

Having heard so much about the new chef in Brick, we were disappointed in our lunch today. The ricotta gnocci could have been so much better with the addition of salt, is the food not tasted before service? Steak sandwich, again, not a speck of seasoning. It was an average lunch, but expensive, not on our list of return visits, we expected so much more from previous reviews.

Breakfast last Saturday - 10 minutes before wait staff came to take order - ordered coffees - regular size was in a cup bit bigger than espresso cup which came reasonably soon- ordered meals at same time as coffees but it was half an hour wait for poached eggs on toast and a scrambled egg and bacon breakfast (both asked for mushrooms - got some on my plate but were advised the rest would come soon - it did in a side bowl). Had to ask for more water to be topped up - wait staff offered coffee on the house to make up for wait - stating they had a slow start - chef came out and said he had had a big night and apologised. On paying the wait staff stated that the chef had the flu and that was why we had the long wait. There were only two other tables occupied during this wait - not sure what they were doing in the kitchen!! We wont be going back - we live locally and are always looking for good place to have breakfast on a weekend.
