We've visited the Queens Park Nature Centre since our daughter was 18 months old, she's now 12 and still loves to go see the animals. The best thing about it too is that its FREE. Its a nice way to spend some time together as a family. Highly recommend.

Lots to do at Queens Park for a variety of age groups. Great park to picnic/bbq etc. Excellent food at the cafe with airy verandahs. Enjoyable zoo for a gold coin entry.
The Japanese gardens are lovely to stroll through. Highly recommended.

We often go to Queens Park either by ourselves, with family or visitors. The park itself is spacious, generally has adequate parking. The cafe offers a reasonable selection that can be a bit variable inequality. The little zoo is always interesting

Beautiful Japanese gardens, a nature reserve (zoo) with wheelchair friendly boardwalk, cafe, lookout and open spaces for gatherings. All well maintained and all for free. It’s a must see in Ipswich.

What a great spot! We heard about the nature reserve on a recommendation and cannot speak of it highly enough. A gold coin donation for a beautifully laid out reserve with wonderful animal enclosures, clean and well looked after.

Our three year old loved it and we found it easy to get around with a pram.

Definitely the crown in Ipswich's jewels. Highly recommended
