Clandulla Cottages, Beaudesert

We stayed 2 nights at the farm and John n Lorna were wonderful hosts. Our son looked forward to feeding the animals every morning and evening. We lost track of time there and had the most rest we had in a long time. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice farm stay..... It is only less than half hour drive from Mt Tamborine and was very easy to locate.

Thanks John / Lorna, keep in touch!

We have just arrived back from our 3 night stay at Clandulla in the mexicana suite and it was beautiful. The property was so peaceful and serene and the hosts, Lorna and John, were very welcoming and kind- they were like family. They were happy to go out of their way to help you- Lorna even made us dinner during the week when the restaurant wasnt open, and spoilt the kids with a beautiful bracelet at the end of the stay!! The children (aged 2 and 6) always wanted to see 'John' and have a chat to him. The animals were very friendly and it was amazing to see beautiful peacocks and kangaroos wandering the property so freely. The kids loved the animal feeding- they especially loved feeding Mia the kangaroo and the horses! they also spent hours at the sandpit, playing with the cups and saucers, and swings!! The kids cant wait to go back!!! I highly recommend it!! Thanks John and Lorna for such a lovely stay!! By the way, the beds and linen were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!

We stayed in the Camelot Cottage and loved every minute of it. It was so cosy and peaceful and the bed was so comfortable with soft sheets and warm quilts.

We enjoyed a lovely complimentary fresh continental breakfast and amazing 3 course dinner (with very little notice to our host).

The animals were fantastic to watch and the feeding was a great experience.

We just kicked back and relaxed and didn't really need to leave the farm stay all week-end. Our hosts were facinating and just lovely.

We defnintely recommend it for a relaxing and romantic getaway!

Room Tip: Camelot Cottage was tucked away but you do get a bit of noise from next door - it didn't really...

I stayed here in July 2012 with my wife and two young children. We all loved our stay in the Mexicana suite and would recommend Clandulla to anyone wanting to give their kids a farm experience with some higher-level comfort (cable TV, pool table, quality accommodation). The managerie of animals and birds at Clandulla provided endless fascination for our kids (aged 2 and 3 years) and John obviously dotes on them. We'll be going back sometime in the near future.

We just spent the weekend here for a wedding and loved it. The place is amazing, our room was beautiful and John and Lorna are very special people who made our stay very relaxing and memorable. It is very homely and a place you don't want to leave - well we didn't. Loved Abbot, Sam, Mia and the rest of the cute pets that are on the property. Looking forward to coming back very soon.

Room Tip: The Rose room is absolutely beautiful.

Thank you for a terrific weekend. We had a family gathering and booked all the cottages, we all had a wonderful time. The accommodation was clean, easy to stay in, inviting and warm. Lorna and John were great hosts, we couldn't have asked for a better weekend. We have said we need to do this every two years. Look forward to our next visit.

Room Tip: All the rooms were well set up the for a family the Mexicana is the best.

My husband and I along with our 6 year old son and 2 year old daughter had our first ever farm stay at Clandulla. The Mexicana is where we stayed and I can't stress enough, how clean, cosy and comfortable it is. The animals are very well looked after and feeding times are at humane hours, so yah, a sleepin. We missed the owners John and Lorna however, the couple standing in were just lovely. They were warm, friendly and really easy going, great to chat to and very approachable. I HAVE to go back, my children have asked atleast once daily since we left, when are we going back to the farm. I'm not complaining though, I can't wait myself. The only downfall I had was explaing to my children why we couldn't take the horse with us!! C U soon Clandulla
