A five minute walk from the car park, takes you to the most beautiful warm pristine Springs ever!
It was nice just to flow down with the current, to an exit point, and do it all over again!
I saw a tree frog, we both eyeballed each other, as I floated dow.
Being more remote, meant fewer people, and more enjoyment.
Highly recommend Berry Springs!

The water temperature was about 32 degree's, which was just right for the 22 degree day. The water is so clear. You can float down the river where there are exit steps that lead you back on a path to the beginning again.

One of the nicest experiences you'll ever have. In the pristine rainforest of Mataranka, float with the current in the crystal clear, thermal waters at Bitter Springs. The current takes you down about 700m to steps, where you can get out, walk back to the start and do it all over again. Definitely one for the must-do list when travelling around Australia

My idea of swimming- the water was about 32 degrees. It was heaven and such an incredible blue colour. We only meant to stay an hour or so but ended up staying all day. Take a noodle and just float down this incredible little creek. I wouldn't believe this could naturally occur if I hadn't seen it for myself.

Bitter Springs is a terrific place but I must say I completely agree with JummaBee below. People can be a little selficious and crowd around the entry point. Take a noodle (or other floating device) and enjoy the beautiful lillies. 4.5yo and 7.5yo both loved hanging out with Grandad as they floated with the current (which is unexpectedly strong). Best if someone will meet you at the other end with towels and shoes, otherwise stick your thongs on the end of your noodle and enjoy the ride. Some brought their snorkels and flippers (definately required to swim against the current). Love it!!
