Really enjoyed our weekend in Eden. Jennifer and Eric are generous, thoughtful and responsive hosts and they prepared a fantastic meal of local seafood for us. room had a lot of character and incredible views, and the spa was welcome. will definitely be back, and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting the region.

Thankyou Jennifer and Eric for providing the perfect Bed and Breakfast. The room was beautifully appointed, the bed extremely comfortable and the views over Twofold Bay just so relaxing. The breakfast was excellent. Eden is the prettiest little fishing village where you can eat fresh oysters on the wharf and watch the dolphins and pelicans play in the water - heaven on earth. Thankyou also for your company - we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

We stayed in this B&B for the first, but not the last time. Eden is a good way South from Sydney and we were not sure of the time the journey would take. The host was very keen to be sure that we would get something to eat when we arrived and offered to prepare supper if there was nothing open at that time. All this in an establishement which does not serve evening meals.
We arrived in good time, were well greeted and shown to a good room, immaculately clean, with a spa bath. How Aussies love their spa baths and this in a country so desperately short of water - a commodity which is consumed in quantity by a spa bath. We were surprised and delighted to be entertained, along with other guests, to drinks and snacks at 5pm on the deck. No charge for that, which was an added pleasure.
We slept well. Breakfast was outstanding, with all sorts of nice touches - the cuisine is excellent - far better than a typical top hotel.
All in all, we strongly recommend this lovely place - and its owners - to those who pass through Eden!

We found the Snug Cove by chance and unfortunately only booked one night. This is one of the nicest B&Bs we've ever stayed in. The place is fairly new but the classic furniture makes this a very charming and cozy place. The house was built in a calm area at the hill and specifically designed as a B&B - with a large guest area with places to sit, a TV and complimentary drinks and snacks. The owners are super-friendly and did everything to make us feel comfortable and at ease at their place. Breakfast was superb and more than enough - add to it the incredible view from the terrace and you simply don't want to leave anymore...

Stayed at the Snug cove Bed and Breakfast in October 2009, and really enjoyed it. Recieved a glass of very good wine on arrival, and had it topped up cause my girlfriend drinks so slowly.
The rooms are very well done. Although the place is still very new, it has been decorated with old furniture, making it very comfortable. The spa is great, and if you open up the bathroom and balcony doors, it is very relaxing.
Breakfast was fantastic. Did not start cooking our hot food until we arrived downstairs, and it was ready by the time we had had some fruit and cereal. Maybe could have had an extra crepe or two with the serving of that, but it was still very nice.
Owners were very accomodating, but also clearly conscious of leaving us to enjoy the place by ourselves. We had a great time there, and it is fantastic value for it's price.

We found this B & B via their web-site after being unable to find anything suitable via Trip Advisor (our normal source of good information). It turns out that Snug Cove only opened in May, '09, hence the dearth of info.
We found the owners Jen and Eric attentive and charming and it was no surprise to hear that they have had plenty of experience in running B & Bs. Eric's passion for the town and its history was impressive. Jen can arrange, at the drop of a hat, anything you like, locally (except a pedicure on a busy week-end!).

The building is very new, although it has the feel of a comfortable older place, and with its nautical styling and decor, it fits right into the local scenery. The view over Twofold Bay from the bedrooms and decking is restful and beautiful.

It is just a short 5 minute walk from the main street of Eden and 5 minutes in another direction to the delightful fishing wharf.

There is a communal lounge stacked with books, TV, DVDs, CDs etc. On our visit (I think it is the usual thing) wine and nibblies was served to the guests aound 6 pm. This was a great way to get to know the other guests and the owners. We ended up going to dinner at the Fishermans Club with the other guests after one pre-dinner session.

The bedrooms are spacious and clean and conducive to a good nights rest.
Breakfast is very good and sitting out on the decking looking out to sea while contemplating the day's activites has a lot to commend it.

Snug Cove and Eden, itself, is a quiet, serene alternative to the high-rise, white-shoe bustle of nearby Merimbula, and it suited us just perfectly.

We recommend the whale watching tour (in season) as being spectacularly good and the Fisherman's Club is a good place to eat in a town that doesn't have a lot of options re fine dining.
