We were given this room when bidding for a room on PriceLine. We were not impressed at all.

The man who checked us in was very rude. He said that he could only put us into a smoking room as no other rooms were available. Later we checked online and there were still nonsmoking rooms available....

The room was huge. But it felt dingy. Maybe it was the smoke smell that make it feel so icky.

I really dont remember much about our night there. We decided it was the last time we will use Priceline and the last time we will ever stay at a La Quinta

We wanted to stay close to the Airport, and we couldn't have chosen a better place. It was clean, the room was huge! Bed was hard, but did I mention the room was HUGE? Very nice accomodations. The heater had a problem, which we reported on check-out.
The Breakfast provided was not as varied as many places we usually stay and had a lot of starch offerings, with only one protein offered (I saw 2 hardboiled eggs, I took one, and more did not show up), and no fruit. Lot's of juices and great milk, though.
The ladies at the desk were very helpful and suggested places to eat near by. I recommend the Hollywood Diner around the corner on Abbot. The Sweet Potato Fries, Onion Rings and Homemade Kettle Chips were awesome, as were the sandwiches and Meat Loaf. Wish we had one where I live.

We spent two nights at this hotel, a Friday night and a Sunday night in October 2008. We booked through our credit card points reward system, but we paid approximately $82 on the Friday stay and $91 on the Sunday stay. The only cheaper option was the Super 8, and that was beyond my normal threshold for hotel class.

Check-in both nights was very friendly and quick, even though we we got in late both nights (around midnight the first night and around 9 pm the second). The rooms we had were just fine. We spent our first night in room 425. It's a king, non smoking room facing Avenue H, with a sofa and two nightstands. The bed was missing one of its posters and all the furniture was looking a little worse for wear, but the hotel room was extremely clean. It's just ready for a good sprucing up. It was nice to have a mini fridge & microwave. Plenty of cable TV options. Free wi-fi is available, so don't forget your laptop. They have not upgraded their blankets & bedspreads yet, but they have switched to the newer, nice sheets that LaQuinta is rolling out. We were plenty happy with this room. On our second night, we were in room 325. It's another king, nonsmoking room, but this one has an armchair and ottoman instead of a couch, and only one nightstand. Furniture looks a little nicer, but other than that, it's basically the same room.

Breakfast isn't too bad. Waffles and standard continental breakfast is available, as well as I spotted some biscuits & gravy on Saturday morning. You can grab a paper (they offer both USA Today and the local paper) and watch the news while having your breakfast. They advertise breakfast form 5-9, but when we checked in on Sunday night, we were told they'd have breakfast ready at 4:30 am.

This hotel is extremely well located if you have to catch a flight. There's a gas station across the street so you can fill up your rental, and it's only about 5 minutes to the rental garage. If you are carless, they offer a free shuttle to the airport & downtown Omaha, or if you need to park your car, you can leave your keys at the hotel, and they'll have the shuttle people pick you up and then move your car to their parking lot during your stay.

We'd definitely stay here again. It was a great deal compared to the other options in the area.

Nice hotel.....my first stay in this area...was a little out of my way from route through the area but based on other TripAdvisor reviews I decided to stay here, so if your are on I-29 traveling through Council Bluffs, its well worth the detour. There is only one restaurant in the area but it was all I needed. I was driving but it is very close to the Omaha airport and a great value for hotels close to the airport as well being as close to downtown Omaha .

Because of weather, we had to spend the night at the Omaha Airport. We checked in at the hotel which looked new on the outside. Excellent front desk service. They have a good continental breakfast and the attendant went out of her way to make us waffles and serve us. Highly recommended the next time you need a hotel near the airport.
