We found this B&B on the Devon Tourist Board Site. It was exactly as described and have no complaints what so ever. We were given the newly re-furbished Mulberry Room, which had en-suite facilities, very tastefully decorated, and extremely well furnished, in my experience of B&Bs. We could not hear any noise from adjoining rooms and had 5 quiet, restful nights sleep.
As mentioned by many below we were greeted with a welcoming cup of tea and cake. The breakfasts were more than adequate and kept us going whilst we were out walking till well past lunchtime.
My partner and I are both very fond of North Devon and we will definitely be returning to this establishment next year for another holiday.

We have just spent 5 lovely days at Combas Farm B&B. Gwen and John are wonderful hosts,
and special thanks to Izzy, a very valuable member of the team.

I had not visited Putsborough Beach and Croyde since my childhood, and very much wanted to
introduce the area to my husband and daughter. They were as entranced as I, and the most wonderful thing is that really nothing has much changed in the intervening years ! Perhaps a bit more traffic ! The beaches and scenery are just stunning.

This extremely well run B&B is cosy, clean, welcoming, comfortable and the breakfasts are delicious. The view from our bedroom window of the charming garden was beautiful, as is the entire area.
We would highly recommend this B&B and hope to return before too long !

Room Tip: We stayed in The Mulberry Room - a good sized family room with en-suite shower room.

This is such a nice place. The house and garden are just stunning, you can hear nothing but birds, and the bedrooms are lovely. The owner Gwen is so nice, nothing was too much trouble for her, from loaning us wellies and suncream to letting us keep our sparkling wine in the fridge. The location is beautiful, just far enough from the town for total peace and quiet, but only a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast was very good too. Would highly recommend.

We just returned from 4 nights at Combas Farm B&B. Gwen and her husband John are genuine and kind. We all felt very welcome and enjoyed the stay. The garden is beautiful as are the surrounding hills and it's very peaceful and quiet. Not to mention the delicious breakfast!

Combas Farm is set in one of Croyde's 'Tranquil and Idyllic' locations, a short car ride from the fabulous stretch of beaches, ideal for both bathers and surfers. This working sheep farm is an first class B&B with comfortable accomodation, which is kept very clean and tidy. Breakfast is excellent value, which includes home made marmalade, jams and yoghurt and traditional fayre being served up by welcoming staff. Gwen and John are the owners and one couldn't want for better hosts along with Maria. If the opportunity arises to meet 'Jenny', one of the assistant housekeepers who works part-time, it is an experience worth waiting for! There are walks in abundance for the more energetic, meandering through fields and country lanes, as far as the eye can see. For campers, this is an ideal setting with ample fields available to set up 'residence'. Our stay was worth the journey and highly recommend Combas Farm for those who like the 'quite life'.

We stayed 7th July, for my birthday weekend. An absolutely beautiful farm house, with beautiful gardens and warm family. We enjoyed tea and cake in the garden on arrival and beautiful views. Our bedroom was sweet with stunning views of the garden. Breakfast was the nicest ever had at a b&b with fresh homemade produce. Set near Croyde Bay and Putsborough beach. We will defo go back.
