A small party of older people there on a coach 5 day break. Rooms all family rooms, wasted on singles and individuals. Clean, roomy, iron & board, fridge, fan, heater. Good beds. Ground floor have patio with table & chairs. On half board - breakfast was plentiful. Evening meals limited. Not enough choices. Could include at least a salad with meat or cheese on a daily basis. Limited on deserts. But plenty of vegetables and food was good. Richard (chef), and waiting staff all very nice and helpful. Has indoor pool etc. and outdoor activities to suit children.

Room tip: Suggest ground floor for a patio.

Second visit to this hotel, without doubt the best thing about it is the location, its perfect for the beach and for this year the Hotel has been upgraded. The rooms are comfortable and we had a ground floor room this year which was perfect for families as the kids can go straight out and play on the small park. The pool was good, we never tried the food though but looked ok for what I could see. it was Curry night at £12 per person on the night we arrived. The grounds are good for kids, Tennis Court, Pool, Gym and plenty of space for them to play and then of course Croyde beach right in front.. The only downside was the evening entertainment which was the same Guy as was there last year who seemed to have an obsession with line dancing and was the completely self centred on himself and the staff around him. We remembered how bad he was the previous year so was a bit shocked to see him still there. Much better just to have some entertainment and then a simple disco than have to listen to this guy all night.. Apart from that a great place and highly recommended for a decent hotel with good staff in a great location.

Room tip: Ground floor rooms are better for Families.

Thank you for your response and very pleased that you were happy with nearly everything.
Our DJ has been with us for quite sometime and is generally very popular, however your comments are duly noted and he will certainly try in future to ensure that how he comes over to our guests is not as you found it. Steve

Had a very relaxing comfortable 2 night BREAK. We stayed in a family room on the hotel . The room was spacious and immaculately clean with ample towels and consumables. There was also a small patio area with table and chairs
It has been many years since last here and has been completely revamped to a up to date site.
The service and food was good and our granddaughter loved the indoor pool and beach.
We shall defineatley return with more of the family and maybe try out one of there new cottages opening.in July this year.

This hotel tries hard to please we stayed in a cottage which was ok for the money self catering but decided to use restaurant unfortunately the restaurant was more geared up for coach trips the down side of this place is don’t expect to come back for a day out around 4pm and 6pm and go for a relaxing swim sauna or steam room because the hotel rents the place out to one hundred screaming kids from outside for swimming leassons ever week day and when they all go at 6 pm the place close doors so hardly four star lovely location

Room tip: Cottages are quieter

Very sorry about the pool, there are usually a round 20-25 children learning to swim after 3 Monday to Thursday in part of the pool, with one section reserved for guests, we will keep this under review as clearly you were disappointed . Steve

A clean and bright place to stay. Rooms are of a very generous size and have all you need available. The pool, sauna and Jacuzzi are a bonus and very clean and manned by a lifeguard attendant. The meals for breakfast and dinner are extremely good and generous amounts. The staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. Entertainment is given in the evenings but there are separate rooms to sit in if you don't want to indulge. Overall a place highly recommended.

Room tip: There are hotel rooms but also self catering chalets which look delightful.
