Stayed here for 4 nights half-board. Had a fantastic time.
Food is good and plentiful.
Rooms are spotless and everywhere is kept exceptionally clean.
Staff are always willing to assist and are friendly.
Has excellent family facilities..crazy golf, putting green, tennis courts, footie pitch, indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam and gym. Pool table, games machines etc.
Sky sports available in bars (not in rooms).
Situated a 200m walk through the dunes to Croyde Bay beach...lovely
The entertainment staff (Robbie & Clara) were tip-top and kept everyone smiling in the evening.
Some tips for improvement would be:-
Show guests to tables for dinner and then ask if they want the hot starter. This would improve efficiency. Staff should ask if you want hot dessert when clearing the table and not leave it to guests to ask. These are very minor points, but would lead to an even better customer service.
Overall though, this is a great place to go and chillax - Croyde and Braunton are lovely and Ilfracombe harbour is ok, but the town centre there needs a lick of paint.
We will be back.

Room Tip: There are some lovely self-catering chalets, if you want to pick and choose when to eat in the hotel

We came here as a party of 6 for the last week of the school summer holidays and had a lovely time, We stayed in the hotel which was great, if it rains (which it sometimes did) we did not have to get wet to walk to the pool or for food. The hotel rooms are modern and contemporary and spotlessly clean- we stayed on the ground floor so had patios which meant all 6 of our party could run between rooms and my mom could have her ciggies easily. The beach is just a short hop over the dunes. The pool was great and really laid back - no dictator lifeguards just normal friendly smiley lifeguards. The food was yummy and plenty of choice for breakfast. The staff were genuinely pleasant and nothing was too much for them. Would highly recommend the UNISON hotel - it is fantastic.

Room Tip: Ask for ground floor if you want a patio - all rooms are really quiet.

We stayed here for a few days over the bank holiday weekend, after having problems booking online we called up and booked over the phone. The staff were brilliant and gave us a Thursday-Monday stay even though these weren't thier usual change over days.

The accomadtion was cute, very clean and well equiped! With comfy beds!

Beach few minutes over the sand dunes at the back of the site....lovely!

The indoor pool was clean and well maintained. Lots of sunloungers....Also had a gym , sauna and hot tub! Everything you need.

The grounds are kept lovely, clean and tidy.

Food was amazing, we went half board and we couldn't fault anything! Lots to choose from!

Evening entertainment was great....kids club then something for the adults and a late bar!!

The villiage of Croyde is lovely, nice little shops and cafes well worth a visit.

Staff were so helfpful and friendly - thank you all for a lovely break!! We will definatly be coming back!!!!

-Tips .... if you want something a little more modern living, stay in the hotel or the newer cottages!

Room Tip: Opt for the hotel or the newer cottages....these are nearer to the beach and away from the hussle of...

Great place to stay. The beach is just over the sand dunes - literally minutes from the sea. Fantastic sandy bay.Accommodation was great. We think 2 bathrooms essential with teenagers. The cottage had french doors opening out onto a very large field which had football goals and volleyball grass court on it. The cottage had its own pub style picnic table outside. If you had smaller children you could have had a cottage overlooking the play area. We had a look at the summer chalets and the hotel rooms while we were there. Summer chalets were very small and quaint. Hotel rooms very good. Swimming pool, steam room, sauna and gym facilities very good. Staff were excellent - well trained and friendly. Croyde village 5 minutes walk away with a good selection of restaurants - the place was buzzing. Always something on at the village hall - we went ferret racing there (what fun!). We also saw an amateur dramatics version of Black Adder there. It suited us to eat in the village but we did sample the tapas on the resort which was very good. Would highly recommend the resort.

Nice place, plenty of room for the kids. Hotel was clean but rooms didnt get serviced as often as they should. Food was plentiful, not cordon bleu but I put on loads of weight! One thing that needs attention is the childrens 'entertainment'. Limited throughout the day and 'the Benny Bear Club' was naff but then it dominated the evenings, forcing anyone without children out (unless they wanted to hear the 'one eye, one horn, purple people eater song' again and again and be forced onto the dance floor).

Great location if your a surfer, just a short walk across the dunes to the beach and the indoor pool is nice.

First time in North Devon and Unison Park. Loved 90% of the experience. So near the beautiful beach, loads to do on site, really enjoyed the crazy golf and bowls. Pool lovely and even thou the park was full never felt like there were too many people about. Great breakfast and the local villiage has some great pubs with great food and child friendly. Now some very small gripes. Stayed in a chalet, ummm small... shower worked well but as we are a tall family it was a squeeze. No privacy, silly folding doors which had to be forced to close, ( sliders would do the job) and our daughter is tall for her age sooo no comfy sleep there as bunks are designed for little people. would book a cottage next time or hotel. Still very clean. chalet perfect for 2 but not family friendly at all. Entertainment was ok. Great Band on but put in small bar while no one doing anything in the big bar, and line dancing!!!!!!!!!! everynight. . No one interested except for staff, a disco with music would have been better. AAGGH KUNG FOO FIGHTING. But highly recommended and will return. Thank you for a lovely week

Room Tip: family chalets not for families or tall people

My girlfriend and I stayed here in one of the chalets; room is limited and the shower cubicle is small but if you can see beyond it, it won't stop you from enjoying yourself.

Besides, there are bigger apartments and hotel rooms.

We stayed half-board, breakfast and the evening meals were excellent with lots of choice and variety and fresh ingredients.

Snooker table, ping pong, putting green, crazy golf, crown green bowls, swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room and spa are all free.

The glorious croyde beach is 5 minutes walk away; body boarding and surfing are massively popular. There are plenty of places where you can hire boards and wetsuits.

Ilframcombe and woolacombe are two nearby seaside resorts; woolacombe is very popular with families and boasts a blue flag beach. Nearby barnstaple has a traditional market which has been in place at the glorious 160 year old market hall.

I can't recommend Croyde Bay highly enough; great for families, couples and singles alike.
