Recommended length of visit: 1-2 hours
Owner description: This wonderful garden was landscaped in a setting of great beauty on top of a cliff with breath-taking views over the sea, and it is a fine specimen of the spirit that animated the Noucentista movement in Catalonia - an early twentieth-century movement for intellectual and aesthetic renewal that found a distinguished spokesman in the writer Eugeni d'Ors. The Santa Clotilde gardens were designed in the manner of the dainty yet austere gardens of the Italian Renaissance by Nicolau Rubió i Tuduri at the age of twenty-eight, when he was still brimming over with admiration for his master in the art of landscape gardening, Forestier.

Really liked this place. Well kept clean tidy overlooks the sea with lovely views. Takes about 1hr 30mins to enjoy 5euros to get in with small gift shop. Take a drink with you has nowhere to buy one here. Also take your camera you will use it a lot!

The gardens are just a short walk from Fenals beach and worth seeing if you are in the area as it is something different from the hustle and bustle in Lloret itself. Entrance fee is 5 Euros for adults and free for children under 12. The gardens are well kept and a lot of time invested in keeping them look great. There are some excellent views of the sea and beaches nearby and some good locations to take some family photos with nice backdrops.

There is nowhere to buy food or drink, so look to taking your own, particularly if you are looking to spend several hours lounging in the provided sunbeds as it can get hot when not in the shade.

Overall, a good way to kill a few hours and an enjoyable experience which is very different to that what you usually experience when abroad at a beachside location.
