“Nice hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

Stayed here in may with my wife and 2 young children ( 3 & 10 ), Room was very nice and clean . huge balcony . Full size kitchen everything you need. Fantastic pool area and indoor pool was the best part as it was quite cool this time of year . Reception staff very polite and helpful, rest of staff so so !! Food was the worst I have seen for such a big hotel, lunch re heated etc. Childrens club a joke . Would I stay here again ? yes but not all inclusive . All in all nice place but would go self catering.

This hotel is a bit far out from the main Lloret beach, although it is a 5 to 10 min walk to the really good Fenals beach. The food is ok, there is a wide selection although it is not that hot. the service is very good as the rooms are cleaned daily and a lot of the people who work there are very helpful overall a great family holiday and i would recommend to anyone.

Had a fab time at the Costa Encantada food was excellent good variety pool area large and us beds always available would recommend is holiday destination to anyone
The Fenals area has a selection of small gift shops only 10 minutes from the beautiful beach of Fenals or if you want something more lively you can walk into the centre of Lloret in no more than 20 mins or if you don't famcy the walk there is a regular bus service from the main road 3 mins walk

Lovely little break, very child friendly, We had a lovely apartment over looking the pool. about 10/15 minutes distance from the main centre. great children's pool that was very shallow. The indoor pool was very warm. I travelled at the end of September and the weather was 28degrees and above everyday, which we were not expecting. The area was also very cheap. Did a lot of walking in the evening to which was great.

Stayed recently for 3 nights, apt was large and clean, had kitchen, with microwave,fridge/freezer. electric kettle, plenty of crockery etc. Wide tv, with some english channels. clean bathroom with shower/bath and hairdryer. Large balcony with table and chairs and clothes dryer. Hotel was very clean and there was 3 lifts. slight hill up to the hotel, might be a problem if you have mobility problems. The indoor pool was good, and there is a sauna and spa facilties. We were H/B and the food was good, plenty to chose from. Only problem was having to queue to be shown to a table. silly idea. worked fine when left to find own table. Staff were abit miserable, other than that it was a good stay, ten mins to shops, bars, and another 5mins to the beach. Apt was cleaned daily, and clean towels.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool area will get the sun. and are pleasent to sit on Balcony.

We weren’t sure if we were going to like this hotel having read some of the previous reviews which had come in after we had booked it. We have been to a number of all inclusive hotels, and although the food is an eclectic mixture, it’s probably the best all inclusive food we have had in terms of quality. One tip though, don’t go to the restaurant when it opens for dinner, as in our experience, that’s when the food is cold as other reviewers have reported – probably because it has been put out before the restaurant opens. We tended to go to dinner around 8pm and after our first experience of the cold food at 7.30 we didn’t have the issue again.

One issue with all inclusive was around the all inclusive drinks. There was a rule that you couldn’t take more than one drink – which was rather difficult if you were going to the bar for yourself and your husband, or vice versa. We understand there are some people who could be getting many many drinks which could cause and issue, but not being able to take more than 1 was daft. We did raise this with the hotel manager and it was addressed quickly. Although towards the end of our stay we did see some people not being allowed to take more than one – it seemed dependent on who the bar attendant was.

When we got there our room wasn’t on a high level which is what we had requested. For some reason that didn’t seem to have been communicated to the hotel from EasyJet Holidays. However, a quick trip to reception, and a word with Gail, who has been mentioned by other reviewers, and all was sorted. The room was really clean – central living area with sofa beds for the children, and a separate room for my husband and I. It had a mini kitchen which we could have used – but didn’t as we were all inclusive.

The pool area is quite big – certainly bigger than other hotels in the area that we looked at as we walked by. There isn’t a pool towel option so remember your towels! There was a good lot of entertainment for children and adults in the water – the aqua gym and aqua dance classes were very good. The evening entertainment was not good – with the exception of the magician – who was amazing.

The hotel is in a busy area, and set up from a main road, so there isn’t a view to speak of. The beach is about 5 minutes walk away past a lot of tourist trap shops etc but when you get there it’s lovely, and there is a really good coast walk from the end of the Lloret de Mar promenade, up past St Joan Castle and along the coast line and back into Lloret – with a coffee place on route to stop and admire the view. The other surprise is the Santa Clotilde Gardens which are definitely worth a visit.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, half board. The room was clean and clean towels everyday. The food was good but as it was a buffet style keeping the food hot was an issue. However there was a microwave on hamd. Plenty of selection for breakfast and evening meal. There is a chef cooking steaks, fish etc. It was very quiet around the pool and surrounding area, which was lovely. The staff are polite and friendly. The main beach is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There is also a supermarket down the road. We took a trip to Barcelona. The bus station is about 15 minute walk into the centre of Llorett. Cost was 10 euros single to Barcelona. This is a must if you go here. Take the open top bus which cost 25 euros. You get to see alot of Barcelona.
The only issue we had was the transfer company booked through on the beach. We had to wait in a hot coach for about an hour and was just dumped on a main road and we had to get our own luggage. Would not book that again.
Overall we had a lovely time at this hotel and would recommend this hotel. In the summer may not be as good as it would be packed.
