Staff here were great- very helpful and friendly, and offered little extras like whipping up a coffee for us without us asking, and offered gelato for our young son. Hotel is in a good position also. The lobby provides a feeling of traditional charm. This however is completely completely out of kilter with the rooms, which are a bit characterless. A sort of upmarket Premier Inn. The sea view was only visible by a life-risking lean out of the window - better than nothing, but don't let it sway your decision. The beds were not very comfortable either, and the main double had a sharp wooden surround that really threatens your shins. Great bathroom though - stylish and it works. The hotel was pricier than a lot of others. Finally, the lift was glacially slow. Can't think that i have seen a slower one!
For those with small kids, we didn't think it was great. The balconies/balcony doors didn't look child proof, and the hot plate stayed hot for ages after use, and was in easy reach of small hands. Lots of sharp corners too.More
