Our stay at B&B Belveliero was amazing and more thanks to Giovanni and his mum which were so helpful and kind. First of all we were surprised that his mum waited for us at the bus stop at 00.15am and once off the bus she took us to the b&b, showed us the room and explained to us everything and even was kind enough to give us a glass of juice before she left because it was very late.

The b&b is run by family and it feels like your are in a relatives house. The breakfast is good, the croissants are too fresh and good and we had one each everyday, it is a light breakfast but is enough to start you off. Any information that we needed we asked Giovanni and he always gave us the best advice and helped us with any problems.

The view from our room was fantastic as it us over the port and everything is close by and we went to the islands with the Blu Lines ship which was suggested by Giovanni which is a MUST DO if you are there. It was great staying at this B&B and would recommend it to everyone if you are going to Trapani.

The only downside for us which we didn't now about is that they don't give you clean towels everyday but change them every 3 days which isn't a big problem really but they could of advised us about it...

Room Tip: Try to get a sea-view room ;)

We stayed for 1 week in Belveliero and had the nicest days there. Everything was nice. Giovanni was very kind and helpfull. The rooms are well equiped and very clean. Breakfast is nice, with fresh bread, yoghurt, fruit etc. Belveliero i situated NeXT to the boats going to the islands, supermarket, icebar, old town and good restaurants.

We will be back :-) - and that must be the best recommodation for a B&B

my mother and I stayed here 3 nights in the double BR suite with the balcony. we were very comfortable spent hours enjoying the port view. as so many others have said Giovanni was the best hotelier - answering many questions both before our arrival and during our stay. if he can arrange the all day boat tour with lunch - Blu Lines - DO IT. he can also explain easily how to get to the bus to the Erice funicular - A MUST - that's where the souvenir shopping is! - and the funi itself is an amazing ride never mind the medieval city. the internet worked just fine in our rooms and bathroom was large and well-equipped. the kitchen was also quite handy and the breakfast ricotta pastries and good bread to die for. also take Giovanni's advice as to where to get your lemon ice 'granita'. the pizzeria just outside the entrance door to the B&B is also very good. there is a little supermarket just around the corner as well. the place is so superbly located - across the street from the airport bus AND the Island ferries/cruises plus the 'old town'. maybe not a 'beach place' but for tourists - couldn't be better. finally - there's an elevator! which most places won't have. all around YES YES YES, will stay there again. book early to get the balcony rooms and private bath as not all have them. the only thing I would add is another arm-less chair to set out on the balcony and a brief lesson on how to work the shutters. Bravo Belveliero!

Room Tip: Il Capitano suite - 2 bedrooms, private big bath and balcony on the port
