This has to be one of the best beaches in Greece, it really is that good.

A bit hard to get to as you have to climb down a steep cliff with ladders and a rope with knots, not for the faint hearted, but well worth the effort when you get there.

Crystal clear waters, caves and serenity all wait you at the bottom, a must do in Milos

“Top 5 of Milos”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2012

Great beach, unusual way of reaching it which is difficult but doable if you are reasonably fit, but ti still gets quite crowded and it's not that big. Maybe worth it for a short visit btu not to spend a whole or half day there. Not the best of the island but definitely in the top 5

“Wow, so pictoresque..”

We arrived by boat so didnt have to climb down the steep rope/ladder (thankfully!)
Water is gloriously crystal clear here, and the beach is relatively quiet compared to the rest (seeing as you need to be fit to get down that cliff!) so as a result everyone is more or less good looking on this beach!! Adds to the atmosphere :)

“Funny and relaxing”

Getting there with a rope and climbing with your staff at your back is something you will never forget. And the clear waters and good young atmosphere there is different from other places

“Personally - not worth the stress”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2012

Maybe we came on a bad viz day or perhaps it was cos we had just come from neighbouring Firiplaka beach with its vast crystalline waters and fantastic soft white sands but to me Tsigrado wasn't worth the stress of getting down there and back up. Beach inlet was tiny with stoney sand and water was completely murky! We love to snorkel so were hoping for some good sights but couldn't see a thing. The abseil down on searingly hot shifting sand and jagged brittle rocks plus near perpendicular ladders was just stressful and dangerous - really don't recommend having anything with you in terms of beach bag or rucksack. A sensible bunch had canoed around to it and that's the only way to go I reckon, though still I don't think it's worth the hassle! Firiplaka however is a dream - go out beyond the sea stack over the rocks past the bulk of the people and you have a beautiful cove with stunning turquoise waters and soft white sand underfoot - gorgeous!
