“Hiking at Sarakiniko”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

Last July l walked all the coast from Mandrakia to Sarakiniko till Pachena village. There is not a real path but it's easy to walk on the rocks by the sea.Small beaches, white rocks with strange shapes, secret caves ,shipwrecks, incredibly blue water! l was in Sarakiniko at 9 a.m.in the morning. l was totally alone on the rocks and l enjoyed the absolute calmness of this magic landscape that belongs more to the moon than to the earth! After 11 a.m. a lot of people came and the beach was very crowded but still beautiful.

“Smooth white rocks, otherworldly and beautiful”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

this beach is totally underrated in that it's so different and stunningly beautiful. All smooth, undulating, pure white rocks leading down to the water. Best to go here late afternoon, too hot otherwise.

“Sa-ra-ki-ni-ko wow!!!”
Reviewed September 21, 2012

Sarakiniko was our first visit in Milos Island. Blue, tourquoise waters with absolute white stones around it. There is a narrow beach with white sand where you can swin... One feels so part of Nature - he must kneel down in praise of the beauty. Even on a Sunday the place was not crowded at all. Wonderful. The pictures speak by itself!
Unbelievable that tourists spending the day there do not remove their litter and help keeping the place a sanctuary - as it should be. There is a van in the parking lot that sells some refreshments and food. No restaurants nearby or bathrooms.

“A moonscape of unusual beauty”
Reviewed August 31, 2012

The beach itself is a letdown so don't go there for the swimming although snorkeling the rocks is fun. The white boulders and rock formations remind one of what an astronaut might see landing on our nearest heavenly neighbour, the moon.
