Despite the fact that I am from Milos, Kleftiko is by far one of the most spectacular places in the Greek seas. It is a nature's masterpiece. Crystal clear waters, caves, underwater passages, pirate stories all combined to a unique experience.
You can reach Kleftiko either by sea (a daily excursion with one of the sailing boats is a very good idea) or on foot via a 3km path (relatively easy descend, but you must wear proper hiking shoes).

Recommended boat: Chrysovalandou (catamaran sailing yacht), Mama Maria (mono hull sailing yacht), Thalassitra (Traditional wooden boat), Eleni (Mono hull sailing yacht), Captain Yankos (during the "round of Milos) or Delfini starting from Kipos.

Hands down the most beautiful place I've ever been and I've been to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world including all over Hawaii/Boracay/Cabo/Medditteranea/Carribean. Bring a water camera and snorkel/flippers to maximize your exploring! Arches are gorgeous and you can swim under them/explore the cave.

Captain Nicolas Xydakis and Polychronis made this the most magical day of our trip. We had not planned or expected to do this, but once the wonderful people at the Psarvolada Resort recommended it so we decided to go for it. It was such a spectacular day meeting people from all over Europe and seeing the passion the Greek people have for their waters, which Captain Nicolas respects and cherishes. Kleftiko was the highlight, but it is at the end of a day of one spectacular sight after another and we had already been swimming through caves and snorkeling in amazing waters so many times we were about exhausted. Still we had to experience it, and we are so glad we did. I would love to go back and hike it, it is a truly magical place.
