My family and I stayed here for two nights during Christmas. Our daughters are 14 and 12. They did not have interconnecting rooms available. We stayed in rooms 306 and 310. During Christmas they have a wonderful buffet. Everything is closed in Garmish, etc. When we booked this, we weren't sure we wanted to be outside of Garmish. However, this was a great place to stay. We spent Christmas Day at the top of the Zugspitz. The train is right outside to take you up there. It is a magical way to spend Christmas Day. There is a cute little chapel next door to the hotel that also has Christmas Eve services. While it wasn't snowing, it was still a wonderfully magical place to spend Christmas. There are a lot of locals here. So it made the experience very authentic.
