“Just an ordinary Bridge atop the baybay river”
Reviewed September 11, 2013

This old Bridge is constructed during Spanish time so aside from the historical value nothing really stand out, beneath the bridge is the local baybay river.

“Capiz Bridge”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

The earliest bridge spanning Panay River was recorded to have been built by the American Military engineers during the term of Gov.-Gen. William Cameron Forbes in 1909 to 1913. The bridge connects the street named Roxas Avenue to the plaza where the municipal and provincial halls are located.

“Well-preserved Spanish era bridge. . .”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

Well-preserved bridge built during the Spanish era. Once you cross the bridge you get to the plaza, the church and the government center. Had stayed once at the President Hotel which is just a couple of blocks from this historical site.

“The Bougainvilleas”
Reviewed February 25, 2012

Looks really like a bridge of the past. The bougainvilleas that line the riverside is just lovely. How I wish Metro Manila and the rest of the Philippines would do the same with theirs.
