staff needs more energy when greeting thier guest.. place is great but lacks in costumer service.. i wouldnt book here if it wasnt for the pool and the manmade lagoon.. rates to go kayaking 25-40-60php per hour. the pool is 5ft, 3ft and 1 ft.. infinity pool. the rooms are common.. theres too many mosquitoes at night.

Stayed there on a visit to Roxas City to attend a friend's wedding. Stayed in the Deluxe rooms, found it pretty basic. The beds were not that comfortable n the beach was across the main road. Food at the hotel was very poor. The pool was nice but the artificial lake was really a total let down. Wifi is only available at the lobby which can be very far from the rooms. Location of course was a distance from the city proper. Bottom line the hotel is a basic property that is overpriced for a small town like Roxas City

Room Tip: Stay closer to the lobby or be prepared to walk a fair distance to the beach

I recently stayed for 5 nights, for Kiwanis convention having a water front room. It was large, comfortable beds, great views. The swimming pool is fantastic as are the staff. They could not do enough for you always with a smile.

Room Tip: water front units are ideal but the most expensive, good value for money. a la carte breakfast was dissapointing, buffet excellent

This was my 2nd stay in this resort. The first time, I traveled with family. Resort has better service now.

Value: Still great value. Stayed 3 nights in the Superior Room (Php 1,615/night). Fair price for a room of that size.

Rooms: Room was spacious and clean. Had 2 firm, spacious queen-sized beds, pillows were soft enough and still bouncy. They don't provide a duvet, but you really don't need one in the hot weather. :)

Air conditioner: Worked well, great room temp, low noise

Cable TV: Small-sized, but good & comprehensive set of local & cable channels

Mini-refrigerator: Worked well, but a bit smaller than what I'm used to getting in a hotel. For the price of the room, though, at least there was even one provided!

Toilet & Bath: Hot & cold shower, good water pressure, clean water (did not taste/smell like rust/salt water) & was kept clean. Working toilet. Toiletries replenished everyday. Towels looked & smelled clean, but also were obviously old (bring your own if you're particular about this). Towels can be replaced everyday, at your request.

Service: Great! Hotel staff very friendly. We arranged for an airport pickup (P70/per way/per person), but the van arrived around 20 minutes late. Hotel waived the pick up fee because of this, so points for their effective damage control. We called reception to request for plates, cups & utensils, and they delivered to our room promptly. Asked about local tours & they were very helpful in assisting us. Staff always smiling & very pleasant, from check in to check out.

Sleep quality: This resort has a lot of families as guests, so expect occasional noises from children running around & playing. We could hear the family in the adjacent room, they would be talking loudly from time to time at night (thin walls), but this didn't really bother us that much.

Cleanliness: Room was kept clean. White bed sheets and bath towels smelled & looked clean but obviously old, I think it's about time to replace them. All in all, the resort surroundings are well maintained.

Location: Great location, along the Coastal Road (across Baybay Beach), 10 minutes from the airport. Across the road from a lot of restaurants & bars, walking distance from the People's Park. 15 minutes from Roxas City proper & local market.

Pool: The pool looked murky (too much chlorine?) so we didn't bother taking a dip. It is open to the public at a fee, so on weekends there are a lot of families and children running & swimming around.

Other Amenities: Really good for families, with a bowling alley, playground, and offers activities like paddle boat rides & fishing.

Restaurant: Complimentary breakfast came with the room, they offer the usual fare (beef tapa, fish, longganisa, etc.). We didn't eat any other meals there so I can't really review the quality of any other food on their menu.

Room Tip: Econo Rooms are the most affordable at P880/night, but bathrooms are separated from the actual room with only accordion folding doors. We opted to get the Superior Room instead even if it was almost double the price. It was bigger & more spacious, too...

Very disappointed with the service at this resort. Did not seem to be American friendly. Resort was out of basics like watermelon, and juices. Upon check in they didn't explain anything about the resort. Would not recommend to Americans. Go to Borocay instead......
