“Wine Tasting!”
Reviewed March 16, 2014 via mobile

Had a great time with the Duplin family enjoying wine tasting at their tasting bar! I have been several times but there is always something different to try. Join their Heritage Club for treats throughout the year and a great discount with every purchase!

“A good time, but awkward!”
Reviewed January 30, 2014

We( 2 couples) visited Duplin for a wine tour, tasting, and murder mystery dinner. The tour was awkward. We started at the winery, then drove to the processing part of the winery. This would not have been so bad, but there was 105 people in the group. After a 45 min tour we drove back to the winery and all 105 of us were seated at tables (8 per table) for the tasting. After the tasting we were herded to the bistro for the dinner. The food was ok, the peanut butter pie being the highlight. It was difficult to watch the murder mystery, as we were seated at a table in the rear, with our backs to the drama. It was awkward to have to turn around to see. We still managed to have a good time, and met some nice people. The staff was friendly, but very touristy, not your usual low key, intimate, vineyard experience.

“Great afternoon of wine and friends!”
Reviewed January 16, 2014 via mobile

What a great way to spend our afternoon with friends and sweet wine! I prefer reds, but enjoyed all the Duplin wines and left home with a case. Their Christmas wines were my favorite. The tasting was so much fun and the staff was hilarious! Very cute gift shop too! Already making plans to go back!

“Great experience”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

We visited this gem over the holidays. It was so much fun. Even if you are not a wine drinker you will love this. The tour was great and the wine tasting bar amazing. They have a wonderful shop chocked full of wine and other items to be purchased. Did not sample the onsite restaurant, but it looked nice. I will be doing this again in the future.

“Very Organized Family Owned winery”
Reviewed December 9, 2013

We just recently went to a Wine Tasting, Dinner Christmas Show. A whole group of us rode together in a motor home...about 1.5 drive. So fun! The tasting was drawn out too long, I'm used to going through the wines faster, because if too much time lapse in between, you forget the taste... and the serving was very small made it difficult to decide. Then we progressed into the dining room. The service was excellent, and the food was very very good. We were all impressed with the quality of the food. The show was very entertaining and very talented. I love how they kept your attention with having some jokes in between the singing. My fav. song is "Mary Did You Know" and they sang it very beautiful. I also love that he said a blessing over our food before we ate, so rare to have a place do that anymore. Thank you Duplin, for keeping Christ first ! We will be back next year!
