We were having a wonderful ski trip in club med, and every night’s show was wonderful.

Kind to family, playfulness with kids, no worry when you are thirsty, or hungry.
Very close and convenience to ski.

Special thanks to all the GO especially to Black, Cheryl, Helen and see you all soon for our next club med trip.

After Yabuli this is the second resort we have visited. The resort is fairly new, here and there there is still construction outside. The resort is generally in the build up phase.

The hotel is typical Club Med, a lot of animation events, young and motivated hosts, many things to do. Target group is families.

The hotel is of good quality, rooms new, spacious and bathrooms well set. All is of good standard and clean. Food is of good quality, again it is targeted not at the the foodie connoisseur but for families with kids. We were there at Christmas time, and a lot of effort was made, including caviar and other yummy goodies.

Skiing is good, only there was not a lot of snow, so the resort relied on snow machines. These Provider ample and good snow. Changchun weather is cold at -17C, so once the sun hit the piste there was a lot of ice. All in all good lifts, good equipment, all new.

Hotel provides ski rental etc. Good skis, good quality equipment. You must bring you own clothing, underwear, skiing glasses, etc though. Make sure you dress warm, place is very cold! There is a possibility rent skiing suites, but it is rather limited.

Children’s club is great, the parents get well deserved time off, and the hosts look after the kids the whole day, including during meals. The evenings are filled with shows done my the staff, to entertain the guests.

All in all a nice holiday and we can recommend this place for all who want to ski in china. Club med is pricy though, so do expect to pay around 65k CNY for 3, 4 nights including all. But hey, who says skiing is cheap? Japan costs double at club med....

This was our first skiing holiday with boys 16 & 18yrs and was everything we hoped it would be. As potentially our last family holiday expectations were very high.
Mitch the boys snow board instructor (who is the best snow board teacher ever – just ask him) (don’t tell him but he was great) thank you. Adrian our ski instructor, so much patience! Tyson we loved your journey and experiences take care and keep smiling. Max and Mitch our son is now moving to Canada to become a snowboard instructor- please look after him Max!!! Charlie you shine a light on the slopes and I actually think you were the best snowboarder!!!
Jenny, you were smiling every day and made us feel so welcome, thank you. Darren, Darren, Darren, there not many opportunities you can have a conversation about outback Western Australia, far north Queensland as well as any number of worldly places with the one person. Fantastic insight, knowledge and great stories to share.
Rooms, food, drinks, entertainment – everything was perfect.
Thank you to everyone for helping us make memories.

This is our third time with ClubMed winter villages, but first time here in Beidahu.
The location is quite accessible, we landed at LongJia airport, stayed one night in Jilin. And the resort is just one hour plus drive from Jilin. Beidahu is a very established skiing location, hosted many international games. There are multiple chairlifts and gondolas catering for crowd with various skills level.
On the day we arrived, it snowed. Hence for the following 4 days there, the snow was good. The wide and not too flat tracks are very suitable for snowboarding.
It is my 3-year-old daughter’s first time to see so much snow and to ski. We managed to arrange for her a priovate instructor from Beidahu skiing school.(Chinese speaking instructor only) in view of her age, she only skied in the mornings and for the afternoons she joined the PetitClub. She definitely enjoyed both skiing and the playing time with GOs and other kids in PetitClub.
With this arrangement for the kid, me and my husband can go for snowboarding carefree for the whole day. This is best thing about ClubMed.
The food is remarkable, as always. There’s usually international buffet and steamboat on alternative nights. We tried both. Steamboat is tasty, but maybe not so suitable for very young kids. International buffet is awesome, lots of variety and fresh ingredients and pastries! I found the pastries here in Beidahu is the best among all other China villages we’ve been to.
Other than those snow activities, there are other entertainment, like VR games, KTV, movie, handcraft sessions etc. You won’t be bored there for sure.
G.Os are definitely worth mentioning. They are the group of people that fill the village with vibrancy and energy. I’m always amazed by their talent and energy level. As my daughter said, they are amazing.
We had chance to meet some of them, our snowboard instructor, Tony, George and Max, bar tender Sandy, who always joined us for meals and shared with us her story as GO in ClubMed. There are many more friendly GOs we have met in the villages whom I didn’t manage to remember their names. Thanks to all of them, we enjoyed our stay in ClubMed Beidahu.
One thing we are not so happy about is that the skiing hall, where all the lockers are located, is not connected to the ClubMed main building. You have to walk outdoor for 2 mins. This creates a bit more trouble in managing the temperature difference, and when and where to put on or take of extra clothes, but it doesn’t affect the overall experience.
Nevertheless, we will definitely go back again.
PS: my daughter loves the baby bath robe and slippers with ClubMed logo.
