My first stop for breakfast was Ye Chun Restaurant prior to visiting this. If you have limited time for one "cha she" breakfast I suggest you go to Ye Chun restaurant (main outlet). Ye Chun has scenic spots for you to capture some nice photos eventhough food is average to my taste. As you can see from photos attached the Baozi & Gyoya were wrapped by hard thick skins. I didn't like them. Other items in the set were also below average. I rated this restaurant 4.5/10.

The overall menu selection is very appealing but the quality of food was not as good as our expectation. The combo choice of the baozi was not so freshly prepared. The Quilongzhu tea is very good. The water celery is a must to try. The nearby Wuting Yingchun Chashe is a much better choice for both quality and cost.

The restaurant is big and known for dumplings and "Paoze". They have food for vegetarians also (mainly vegetables dumplings).

Fu Chun Cha She is the oldest tea house in Yangzhou, over 140 years old. It serves Early Tea all day from 6:30 AM till 9:30 PM. The menu consists mainly of many kinds of steamed dumplings.
Its Early Tea menu is similar to what Ye Chun Cha She serves. Ye Chun is the second oldest tea house in the city. Their steam dumplings are almost the same in quality. Like all the restaurants in China, MSG is widely used to enhance the taste.
I went to Fu Chun at dinner time. It was packed. I shared a table with three other parties.
The food was good.

Well known for the variety and authentic taste of its own style breakfast menu, Fuchun is the most famous restaurant in the city of Yangzhou, you'd better wont miss it as a tourist to avoid regret. Though, their service quality is average, due to high volume of orders and customers, plan your time to visit Fuchun from Mon-Fri in the morning, to avoid excessive crowd, also consider to avoid visitation during long weekends and public holidays. Have fun!!!
