After an overnight train ride from Shanghai to Guilin we checked into the Guilin Hostel for one night before heading via mini-bus to Dhazi the next morning. Met by lovely Ayi we walked the beautiful rock paths to our destination - the Jintian Hotel, situated an hour's walk from the last vehicle accessible spot before the village.
We were made very welcome. Our rooms were on the 3rd floor and had amazing views across the rice terraces. Being as high as we were gave us a great view down the mountain towards the village, hidden away behind the undulating scenary. We had 2 gorgeous days walking the mountainous paths, enjoying the natural surroundings and fresh air. On our return from our walks we would feast on the delicious food cooked by Hannah, the efficient and friendly lady who runs the hotel. We couldn't have asked for more and would one day love to return to this beautiful part of the world and the Jintian Hotel.More
