“Steeped in History”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

The kiln was amazing to walk around in. There are many different rooms to walk around in, featuring the different stages of pottery making. There is also an area where you can make your own pottery on a potter's wheel. As well, down the street from it, there are many shops that sell beautiful pottery.

“Still under renovation.”
Reviewed March 20, 2014 via mobile

At the time of our visit, the dragon kiln was still under renovation ... and appears to have been under renovation for ovet a year now, accordibg to a local we spoke to.

Nevertheless an interesting visit, the shops sell some interesting pieces (not the tacky touristy stuff though!!).

“Very interesting insight into history. ”
Reviewed March 20, 2014 via mobile

For anyone interested in pottery, ancient history, or just chinese culture and history in general, this place makes for a worthwhile visit.

It's worth paying a bit extra for the guided tour, as this allows you to make the most of your trip.

Lots of stalls selling old-looking pottery pieces, and the small ines make for good souvenirs or gifts back home.

Very interesting couple of hours, worth a visit. Allow yourself about 2 hours to see everything.

“How does the ancient kiln look like?”
Reviewed February 16, 2014

Very interesting. Its really worth a visit, to see the Chinese ancient pottery and how they were burned. We visited on a rainy day, it was slippery.
There are also souvenir ceramic shops along the street, nice stuff to have.
