Arrived in darkness after a 90 minute drive from Marrakech airport, ate late dinner poolside, wonderful food, service attentive but not well organised. Drinks at reasonable cost with decent Moroccan wine list. Breakfast was simple and served on patio overlooking mountains, again slow service but time of no concern! Rooms were lovely, comfortable, well equipped, clean and tidy, set in groups amongst beautiful gardens. Extremely quiet location and good base for walking around local villages. A real treat as an introduction to local hospitality!

Domaine de la Roseraie was the most wonderful find, such a contrast to the hectic pace of Marrakech, beautiful scenery, tranquil, with the most fabulous gardens to enjoy. The rooms were wonderful with large comfortable beds, and beautifully decorated in traditional moroccan style. The staff were extremely helpful at all times and made us feel very welcome. Nabil, the owner, went out of his way to assist and ensure that we had a perfect holiday, both in arranging our stay and whilst we were there. We really do hope to return sometime soon to this little bit of paradise!

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely - you will not be disappointed whichever room you choose!

I was just after a place to stay for the night and stumbled upon this place, felt kinda out of place being a solo traveler here as it is a pretty romantic location. Price is epensive for Morocco but the location and rooms where excellent, if I took a girl to Morocco I would definitly have this place on the to do list.

We've just returned from 4 nights at La Roseraie and can't recommend it enough. After 3 nights in Marrakech the sweet smell of rose and jasmine flowers from the gardens were a far cry from the hustle of the medina. A little peace of heaven. The rooms were cosy and felt homely with stunning views of the mountains. The food was lovely and service very attentive and charming.

We found the local taxis easy to arrange and the Saturday market in Asni is well worth a visit, just 30mins away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return in an instant if we could.

Room Tip: Room 18 has a pool just outside it, felt really private

Even though we arrived at the height of summer, the tranquil gardens were still glorious and the perfume of jasmine and lavender intoxicating. The whole site is beautifully designed and embellished with traditional Moroccan features and there are stunning views of the mountains wherever you look. It is a wonderful place to lounge around and do absolutely nothing apart from: swim in the pools; admire the flora and fauna, and eat and drink. Horse riding on sure-footed, well-mannered stallions is exhilarating, not for speed but for terrain and views.

Accommodation is comfortable and having a private terrace was a boon but that isn't to say that there are not secluded areas of the grounds that you can relax in.

The staff are unfailingly courteous, friendly, attentive and conscientious.

Food was excellent. However, after nine days of the evening a la carte menu, we opted for having a lighter lunch together with a large snack in the evening, which were both very good. Alcohol is pricey. Breakfast is enjoyable with many different types of breads to sample.

We cannot praise Domaine de la Roseraie highly enough.

La Roseraie is a piece of paradise: what joy to stay in a rose garden, and in full cry in May, and I will never forget the generous breakfasts served in the dappled morning light on the terrace overlooking the pool and the Atlas mountains. What a view! Everybody at La Roseraie was charming, kind and thoughtful, and very forgiving of our small children. Not only was our stay super relaxing but we also swam, went horseback riding, and made use of the spa facilities. The perfect place for garden lovers, and those wishing to beat the retreat from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh.

A true paradise retreat contrasting the hub bub of 21st century western living. The hotel and its rosé garden grounds are all beautiful and continuously maintained by the staff. The staff are like a team always smiling and willing to help. There is an under used luxurious spa where we had massages and beauty treatments at reasonable prices. Hamams and massages all carried out by local staff. Nothing conveyor belt or that packaged feel you sometimes get in top class hotels.
The food was local and plentiful, perhaps could become repetitive for the long stayer. We were there for 10 nights, along side mostly French guests who generally stayed 2/3 nights.
The owner Nebil was most gracious and unassuming as a host but embraced our every need. We had fresh fruit brought to the room, he even became our mountain guide one morning but most of all he became our friend. Thanks Nebil.
If you want peace, mountain walks, local food and beautiful surroundings, then this is the place for you. Worth upgrading to a suite, huge rooms all individually designed ours backed on to the river and had an 8 feet wide bed!
