This is such a beatiful vineyard. Not only do I love their wines but they also host events and are very friendly. We visited last week and havent been there in almost 6 months. The person providing the tastings remembered us. Great customer service. Great place to sit out on the patio and enjoy the sunshine and view. Would definitely recommend a day trip if in NC.

My husband and I were so pleased when we pulled up to this winery. It really feels like you're in Italy! I couldn't believe this winery is in North Carolina. The views are spectacular and the winery is very nice with friendly staff. This is a great place to stop by and have some wine and cheese on the patio outside. The wine is some of the better I've had in NC and there are several wineries near by, so you can make a full day trip. I'd also recommend Laurel Gray and Dobbins Creek, which was very close by. Great overall winery!

GPS didn't take us to the vineyard but got us close, just had to drive another mile or so on a gravel dirt road. Hard to find but worth the effort. I've been to Italy and this tasting building looks like it came straight from the Italian countryside. Love it. The grounds surrounding the villa are pretty with a nice picnic area. Suggest you take advantage and come armed with a picnic lunch or snack to enjoy with your wine or you can buy gourmet snanks from their deli counter. Most of their wines are reds and definitely taste as good as some Italian wines I've had. Really enjoyed the Sangiovese Red which is a chanti type wine. The day we visited it was $5.oo to taste their wines including a souvenir glass, a great deal and we got to talk with the owner himself. Always a nice treat.

Definitely the nicest winery I've visited in North Carolina. Mountain views, beautiful surroundings. Great wine and gardens to walk around in while you are sipping on vino. Lots of gifts were available as well to purchase. Tasting was very informative - staff seemed to be very knowledgeable on their wine.

This winery has beautiful surroundings. The landscape is awesome. We enjoyed a wine tasting while we were there and would go back just to walk around the grounds.
