I had been trying to find Paul's Place on several trips to Topsail Island but unable to locate until last year. We definately will be returning. It is a dining roadside attraction. We visited on a Saturday and there was a flea market going on in the back parking area/surrounding area. The people watching was great....live chickens to purchase if needed. We had the Paul's dogs All The Way.....so good. I have never had hot dog relish so good. The bun is not your standard hot dog bun. It is a combo of hot dog bun and a soft thick white bread. It snuggles the dog, relish, mustard and onion so you get a wonderful bite. Bought several jars of relish to share and enjoy later.

Whenever I'm in the Wilmington, NC area to visit family, I always visit Paul's Place. I'm consistently pleased with their hot dogs--the buns are warm and soft, and the relish is fantastic!

My husband said we had to look for Paul's Place, where Mr. Graham used to buy him and Teddy hotdogs in the 1950s whenever they went up to the farm from Wilmington. We had to ask directions twice, but finally found it in Rocky Point at a crossroads of US 117 and Hwy 210. The roads were empty, but this former gas station was full of fans of Paul's yummy little wieners dressed with special sauce that you can buy to take home. We had three of them and two Cokes for under $6. Well worth a detour off I-40 if you are going to or from Wilmington NC.
