We was out riding Moonshiners 28 and i had read some reviews saying how great it was so we wanted to check it out. This was on a Monday for lunch. We got there just after 11am and went in was greeted promptly and the waitress was very nice.My wife had a hamburger and it was good.I decided to try a philly cheesteak and it was good but it was not on a hogie or french roll it was on a jumbo hot dog bun.If it would of been on a hoagie roll it would have been fantastic. The french fries was dark brown and soggy OLD OIL and the bad thing was they are closed on Sunday so it made me wonder how often the oil gets changed. As the title says its average.

It reminds me of Sunday dinner on my friend's family farm. Fried okra, mashed potatoes, country ham, etc. They also have catfish sandwiches, handmade burgers & fries and great sweet tea. Their turkey & dressing is also great! It was a pleasant surprise while driving down the road. There's nothing else near it, so we weren't expecting to find this great little restaurant off by itself. It's definitely worth stopping in and getting your grub on!

This is a traditional meat and three type of cafe. The atmosphere is cozy as it might appear from the picture. Our service was very accommodating as we arrived with several in our group. We were staying in the area so it was important for us to have a good place to eat. My husband ordered fried catfish and I had a veggie plate. Everything was very good. As another reviewer said, it's not gourmet but it is good comfort food. We'll be returning to Robbinsville again in September and will definitely be eating here!

A very basic website would help stir traffic to the location, although it is right where to turn to go to Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge so it already gets great exposure.

The Stecoah Diner has good food. It's not gourmet; it's local - the way locals like it. We've had many of their menu items and have never been unhappy. It's a bit out of the way, and it may not get many reviews, but if you are hungry...stop in. Nice people and good down home food.
