“Whether a biker or not, it's the greatest place to stay in Robbinsville”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

In June we made our second motorcycle trip to the Robbinsville, NC area and did not hesitate to book a 4 night stay at the Two Wheel Inn. We had stayed at Two Wheel two years prior and, in our opinion, is the greatest place to stay in the Robbinsville area. Biker friendly, very accommodating and extremely clean. Each unit has its own motorcycle garage large enough to easily accommodate two cruisers. A bike wash area is available for those of us who always seem to get caught in the rain and need to spruce up our ride. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with satellite TV and a microwave and mini fridge for in-room snacking. Wifi is available for those who just can't get away from civilization and the cell phone reception is strong in this area. The location is convenient to the Dragon, Moonshiner 28, Cherohala Skyway and Great Smokey Mountains National Park, as well as many other excellent "biking" roads just waiting to be explored in the NC, GA, and TN surrounding areas. Barry and Linda are the greatest hosts and will make your vacation stay memorable. I can't say enough about Two wheel Inn except book early. The rooms fill up quickly. Thank you Barry and Linda for a great stay. We can't wait for a return trip!

Spent July 1st here and what a GREAT motel for bikers!!! A group of us rode there to ride the Tail of the Dragon and Cherohala Loop. When we ariived the owners were there to greet us. The rooms were clean...good size...wifi...sattelite tv...AND a garage with each room for the motorcycles! Owners were helpful in providing info and maps for the different rides. When we returned later that evening we had pizza delivered and sat in the pavillion. Started a fire in the fire pit and talked with other bikers from all over the country. Planning a retrurn trip!!!!

Room Tip: Ask for discount coupons to the different area restaurants!

I have visited the tail of the dragon numerous times now and always stay at Two Wheel Inn. You get your own garage right next to your room and they have great hospitality and are nice as can be. Each room also has its own hot water heater so you always have hot water. Also a big thing you get great cell phone service here and the closer you stay to the dragon there is hardly any signal at all. Over all I rate this place excellent and will always stay here in future trips.

Room Tip: Just make sure you reserve your rooms way ahead of time.

We stayed at the Two Wheel Inn for one night of our family motorcycle trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway. I've stayed many times before & Barry & Linda will take great care of you, and your motorcycle! All of our family members were very impressed. Units with larger garages for trikes & trailers are coming soon... And maybe even a steak house restaurant. Great stay!

The two wheel inn is the ideal hotel for the motorcycle community. The owners really do treat you like friends! The rooms are spotless, up to date, well maintained and functional. The hotel has features directed to their clients (laundry facilities, bike cleaning facilities, fire pit, out side social areas). We stayed in one of their apartments which is large, very well decorated and furnished (complete with 2 sleeping areas) with a full kitchen, living room, fire place walk in closets etc. Couldn't recommend it higher! A short drive to the tail of the dragon.

Room Tip: Book early during the riding season.

Don't just drive by... you have to stay! We travel thousands of miles every year and stay in MANY places-April was our first trip to NC. From the time we pulled into the entrance of Two Wheel Inn we were greeted and welcomed. It was late, cold and starting to rain. Barry showed us to our room and immediately turned on the heat - 'cause he said I looked like I needed it. Was he right!! I will never forget the cleanliness. Spotless! I can be a bit fussy about that. The garage was an added bonus - especially since it rained! Safe, comfortable, and warm. Don't Miss It!

Clean rooms, two double beds, TV, clean bath, and a coffee pot. The 6 by 8 ft garage for your bikes comes with an auto garage door opener that is controlled inside of your motel room. The garage has towels to wipe down your bike, if you wish. Also, there is access to a water hose and towels behind the office for washing bikes. But the real benefit to staying at the Two Wheel Inn is the great customer service. The couple that runs the hotel could not be nicer and the cleaning staff was equally pleasant and accommodating. This is what a hotel/motel should be!
The location is centered to several great rides. 18 miles north is the "Dragon", In town (Robbinsville) is the start to the Cherohala skyway, and Rt. 28, the "Moonshine 28" is thru town also.
