My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend at Snowbird Mountain Lodge to celebrate our 30th anniversary... such a relaxing respite! The property is immaculately maintained, beautifully decorated, and our accommodations were perfect. The food is reason enough to stay there! We enjoyed canoeing and exploring the trails. The mountain views and majestic summer clouds were so calming; the birds were fascinating to watch. We enjoyed interacting with other guests in the public areas, like the lodge library and the large deck with rocking chairs. We were pleasantly surprised at the attention to details and how the "little things" make staying there such a joy! We hope to return!

We have already recommended Snowbird Mountain Lodge to several friends. The meals are great as is the hospitality. The views are incomparable. But the relaxation is the real charm. Not that we sat around, we canoed Lake Santeetlah, rode Mtn Bikes on the Forest Service roads nearby and hiked in the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Highly Recommended.

Note: In the Rating Section I gave the "Fitness Center" an excellent rating since the lodge provided canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, tennis rackets and courts, etc. An Outdoor Fitness beats an indoor one any day.

My husband and I went to Snowbird Mountain Lodge with my parents and we had a wonderful time. There were a number of activities to do. Hiking, Horseshoes, Kayaking, Canoeing, Paddle boarding, etc. This would be a great vacation for anyone who wanted to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I wish we could have stayed for a whole week.

A small intimate mountain resort;perfect for couples or families looking to reconnect. A bird watchers paradise! Food and wine (a huge winelist) are superb. Rooms are rustic with all the amenities. Friendly innkeeper.

What a location! We are always on the go & we were able to just stop and relax. Spetacular views. Our room was clean, the service was great and the food.... Wow! Plenty of outdoor activities to get you back in touch with nature. A great time, just what we needed.

This was our second stop for my husband's birthday road trip. I had originally booked it because they had a firefly walk listed to coincide with his actual birthday, and because we both really wanted to see the synchronous fireflies. I double checked their activity schedule a week or so before we set off only to see it no longer listed. A call to their staff and I was informed that the original tour guide was ill, but that the lodge owner would be taking guests himself. That pretty much sums up the place, they'll do all they can in order to make your stay everything you're looking for.

The food was delicious, the bartender was great and the bar was nicely stocked, and our room was exceptionally cozy. My husband called it "posh camping" because you get to go trek around in the wilderness all day, come back to a lovely steam shower, eat wonderful food, sit out looking at the gorgeous scenery and then go soak in the hot tub before crawling into bed. They even provide you with a pack lunch, maps, activities, and plenty of things for a rainy day as well. The staff was wonderful, down to Gracie the cat, who let us pet her as we watched night time fall from the front porch of the lodge.

We'll definitely be back!
