Traditional Japanese menu in addition to more main stream options for those diners with you that are not as adventures. It was so good - I dined at this location two days in a row. You must try the avocade salad - trust me! The california rolls were diverse and easy to order for they provided a seperate one page menu with photos of each. They also have a nice sushi bar and traditional bar with bar seating for quick bites and if you are eating alone.

I'm not sushi guy but like Japanese food otherwise. This place really should just focus on the Sushi. It looked great and table-mates said it was great. I got steak with teriaki sauce. poorly cooked and on 2nd attempt was still flavorless. even the from-the-bottle flavor of teryiaki glaze didn't help. Others who got steak in their meals as hibachi or straight up steak felt the same. Staff very informative but seemed a little pretentious. Seems like Mura really likes itself. It's a japanese place in a fancy strip mall. Go for sushi.

Stopped here for appetizers while visiting North Hills. Had the Firecracker shrimp which were pretty good and some wontons, which were excellent. The restaurant has nice soft lighting and a neat sushi bar where you can watch the action. Service was good and they had special prices on the appetizers on Wednesday night.

Mura offers a lively, but not too noisy modern bar to meet friends. As you move into the main dining room, you'll notice the pleasant hum of conversations, amidst the constant movement of sushi being served by a friendly & competent wait staff. Our group appreciated the choice of a table or booth. We ordered a favorite shrimp tempura appetizer and bowl of edamame to share. THe drink & wine specials were clearly explained. We then each ordered 1 -2 sushi rolls to pass. The favorites of the night were: The Spider & Sin City, however, all were thoroughly enjoyed and none was left uneaten. The display of delectable edible veggies and flowers on each plate made an impressive presentation. Overall, the Mura dining experience was a lively dinning evening that encouraged conversation and a return trip to look forward to.

Really good sushi needs no adornment - high quality fish speaks for itself. So a plate covered in orchids, parsely, carved radish windmills and a veritable mount fuji of really nasty fake wasabi rang alarm bells even before i managed to find the sushi under all that camouflage!

The sushi wasnt bad, it just wasnt very good and for a not insignificant amount of money i expected something better. Most of the fish had little taste and a flabby texture that suggested too much time spent in the freezer. Nothing about the meal made me want to eat there again
