“Great veggie/vegan options... healthy/fresh... +++”
Reviewed October 16, 2013

Popped in here for a quick take out sandwich during a busy working day and was surprised by the veggie/vegan options... really good choices and everything was healthy/fresh.

Sandwiches came with 2 sides; both were yummy... especially the chickpea salad... :-)

Service was prompt and extremely friendly... would definitely recommend and would come back...

“Love the vegan options!”

Great vegan options at very reasonable prices! Excellent service and atmosphere as well. Wish more places in downtown Raleigh had healthy and fresh food like Sosta.

“Relaxing small cafe, good vegetarian options”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

This small cafe in downtown Raleigh serves a variety of sandwiches, coffee and drinks. They have a very good vegetarian selection which accounts for about half of the sandwich selections. They have very relaxing music and a good atmosphere. Prices are typical and they give you very large portions. Sandwiches come with an Israeli Couscous and a very good bean salad. I could barely eat all of it. So a relatively good value for the money. The wheat bread was very fresh and excellent compared to many other restaurants I have been to. I will be back to try some of their other sandwiches. They are also very friendly here.

“A great lunch”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

Went for the first time with my 2 girls, and we loved our sandwiches. It's all in the toasting of the bread...it was perfect. The owner took time to say hi to everyone that came in, and even offered to make a less sophisticated grilled cheese for my kids. And their sides are not the bland chips or potato salad. Today it was couscous and garbanzo bean salad. Even my kids loved them!

I'll be going back to try some of the other sandwiches on the menu.

“Bean salad is great!”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

I went on weekday and it wasn't too crowded. Friendly owner. Tried the Leah: turkey, provolone, roasted red pepper on french baguette, with dijon mustard. Sides were some kind of curry couscous and a bean salad. The Leah was good but the dijon was really too strong for my taste. Also, if I were to order again, I would get it on wheat bread instead (for health, not taste). The couscous was alright but the bean salad was fantastic!
A little pricey for lunch but the bean salad punched this up from Average to Very Good for me.
