Of course it is not fair to compare Brasa with the top Brasilian steakhouses in the country, much less with those in Brasil. But it is located in Raleigh....and for Raleigh, it is not bad.
As with all churrascarias, be mindful of the salad/buffet bar. It is pretty good, but you can easily get filled up on it, and end up not eating much meat. It can easily turn into an expensive night of eating at a salad bar, rather than a steak house.
If you order the meat service, the waiters will come around and offer you pieces of different meat cuts (chicken, pork, beef) and even grilled pineapple. The quality and taste is slightly above average.
The staff is not particularly friendly. "Customer in - Customer out" mentality. Not rude, but nothing special. Friendlier service at the deli across the street. One question....why is it so dark inside?
In sum, if you have never been to a Brasilian steakhouse, you will enjoy it. If you have been before, taper your expectations.
