We decided to try St Jacques for our anniversary and we’re glad we did. This is by far the best food we have had in Raleigh and probably the best overall meal we’ve ever had. The location fools you being in a strip mall between a Chinese takeout place and a Great Clips. St Jacques is the place to come for a special occasion or when you want an outstanding meal and understand that requires paying a higher price for the food and service. The service was some of the best we’ve ever had, attentive but not hovering with a perfect pace to the meal. Each dish was incredible and the owner took the time to understand our wine taste and recommended the perfect wine for the meal. The meal was excellent in every way and we will definitely be dining here again. My only warning to anyone coming here is that you must understand the bill will run up quickly so you need to decide ahead of time how much you want to spend. We stayed within our budget for the night but I could easily have seen us going over if we had not taken the time to look at the menu and plan ahead what we wanted. Each dish was well worth the money but there are so many excellent choices one could get caught up in wanting to try too many. This is the best place to come in the Raleigh area when you are looking for an outstanding dining experience and we’d highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fine French cuisine.

I have been fortunate to dine recently at one of the top 20-ranked restaurants in the world (Astrid y Gaston in Peru) and St Jacques is right up there. The flavors and service is outstanding. Last time I went they were no longer serving the "Vacherin" for dessert (seasonal menu change), which is my favorite. To show the level of service, Lori emailed me a day later apologizing for not having the dessert and advising that they would be happy to have the chef make it for me the next time I came. This level of service is something you rarely encounter and is a testament to the owners and staff. St Jacques is simply C'est magnifique in every way!

Came to eat on our anniversary. Very happy that we did! We had Foie Gras-that was on a sweet potato muffin-big enough for two. Vichyssoise. Veal Paquet. Lamb provencale. Creme Brulee. Homemade ice cream. And espresso. All were so good and such artistic presentation. The wait staff spoils you. Jordan was kind and helpful. Jordan worked around my nut and seafood allergies very well. Lil one of the owners was attentive and kind to all diners. We will be back!

No doubt that the food is the reason this restaurant is #1 in Raleigh. Fresh, simple and delicious! Great place to celebrate a special occasion! Save room for dessert!

I had the Halibut, my wife had the Sea Bass. Perfectly cooked just melted in our mouths. Their home made bread and the cheeses are fresh and tasty. The attention they give to service is absolutely over the top. This place should be on everybody's bucket list.
