“Great Food, But Large Groups, Check First”
Reviewed April 23, 2012

Greet food! Mostly tapas. Recommend: Scallops, artisan pizzas, calamari, cheese plate with crustini & olives was good; ahi tuna was a little too warm in the middle. Nicely decorated, but just a couple of tables for parties of 6 or larger; most tables seat 2 - 4. Even though we had a reservation for 6 weeks prior, our party of 9 was seated at couches and a small cocktail type table in between; couch against wall a little higher (with no back, just pillows) than other couch & chair. Not conducive to eating a meal comfortably, and also awkward for the server to server our selections and drinks; not good for those with back problems. We tried to move even separate tables, but was told they were reserved; hostess didn't seem concerned nor empathized. When we left 2-1/2 hours later, those reserved tables were still empty! They do have music/entertainment on weekends, but seating in back is difficult to hear. Might try again for a late night snack/drink, but definitely not with a large party unless assured of a table or the closed-off room in the back of the restaurant. So, if you have a party of 5 or more, check before going to see if you'll definitely have a table, or seating on the side couches. Gave atmosphere an average, due to the awkwardness of our seating.

“Ordinary and overpriced”
Reviewed February 29, 2012

I was excited to try somewhere new and went based on the recommendation of a friend. Well, it was a bad experience and I will not go to OT again, nor get recommendations from this friend! Food was dull, and waaay overpriced for the small portions. I had two tapas dishes and their cheapest glass of white wine and came away with a check for $32 while still feeling really hungry (but unwilling to waste any more money)! The mozzarella in the mozzarella and cherry toms plate was rubbery and of poor quality. The BBQ shrimp dish was okay, but too small and BBQ sauce tasted like it was out of a bottle. Service was bad. Got a humorless disinterested waitress who acted like we were an inconvenience. I'd far rather go to Margaux's or Five Guys and a Yo Mo if I'm in this area.

“Great tapas in N Raleigh”
Reviewed February 6, 2012

Great tapas and atmosphere. Not a place to rush. Also, lately I have seen people show up with small kids, not really a place for that. This is a sort of Arabian or Moroccan themed club/tapas/jazz club.

It is excellent place if you know what it is.

“Great girls night out!”
Reviewed January 29, 2012

13 Friends and I went out to Oliver Twist for a girls night out to celebrate January birthdays a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful time. Since it was a large group we were able to taste several tapas. The BBQ chicken flat bread pizzas, crab dip, fish tacos and shrimp and grits were great! The atmosphere was perect for a girls night out. The price for the drinks, tip and service was very reasonable for a group our size. We did make a reservation for 7pm and got there before the late night crowd came in, which all worked out perfectly.

“One of our favorite places...Great atmosphere, great Tapas!”
Reviewed January 12, 2012

The thing I like most about this place is the casual seating option. You can go have a drink and have great Tapas food and sit on a leather chair and sofa. It's a very elegant Turkish environment.

I like most all of their dishes...the tuna is great, the shrimp, the beef sliders...all are great. This week they had ceviche, a traditional Latin American dish where seafood is cooked by lime and lemon juice, not heat. It's great.

I don't understand some of the reviews on here. Of course the food is expensive - this is a nice place. If your looking for the Burger King special go there, or get a job.
