I have been here a few times and the sushi is average. They have a nice selection of rolls and sushi and the quality of the fish is great. Each time I have gone, the service seems so slow, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy.

I ordered 2 take out rolls with about 15 minutes advance notice & they were ready when i walked in the door. Generally I like to eat at the sushi bar but i was in a bit of a rush this time. Both rolls tasted fresh & were excellent. I have never had anything here that wasn't very good.

The rolls are great but I go for the Sashimi and Nigiri. The cooked dishes are wonderful as well. Have been a fan forever,

This used to be "the" place to go for the best sushi but it appears to have stumbled. We went there for lunch over the holidays .The restaurant smelled like wet carpet(on a sunny day), the iced tea tasted like it was from powder mix, the tempura had been fried in old oil. The sushi was missing the fresh look and taste that had always been a hallmark of Waraji. The wait staff didn't have the polish seen before ( tempura dish smashed into sushi roll smearing fish eggs on the tempura. Overall a define disappointment. I'll stick to Maru, Wasabi and Yuri closer to Cary.

There's nothing inviting about the restaurant itself, but the food was very good. We had a number of items from hot food to sushi and everything was good and fresh. A great option in Raleigh for a casual Japanese dinner.
