If you are visiting Raleigh for only a short time, this is not a must-see attraction. However, if you live in Raleigh, are here for an extended visit, or frequently come to town, its probably worth a trip. The Raleigh Little Theater and its garden are located in a residential area and sit a few blocks east of Cameron Village and a few blocks north of NC State's Hillsborough St. They take up the equivalent of a block and are essentially contained in a large oval. The theater is at one end of the oval along with the amphitheater and the rose beds. The rest of the oval is lawn and formal garden, where the often hold weddings and special events when the weather is good and the plants are in bloom. Rarely crowded, the garden is a nice place to take a blanket and a book and sit and read or just sit on a pretty day,
