We live an hour away. We were in Raleigh for my son (age 5) had to have a MRI. It was a very scary experience and by the time everything it was done we wanted to sit down and eat but it was 9:30 at night. We stopped at Mimi's because I heard they had muffins and my son loves blueberry muffins. While we were eating the asst. manager came over and spoke with us. After telling her the story she brought my son 4 blueberry muffins to take home. She sat with him and talked for a while, it made him feel very special. The next time we went to Raleigh (for the MRI reading) that is we're my son wanted to eat. The same lady was there and immediately came over and asked how he was. She even gave him a hug when we gave her the good news. She also sent over muffins. :) We brought our daughter this time who is only two and they were just as sweet to her. (even when she wasn't on her best behavior) I can not say enough how special this place has become. To live so far away and to come in and feel welcome is so nice too! Food is great and the servers are nice and efficient. I highly recommend chicken parm.
