“Very Good Chicken!”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

This is a very casual Peruvian Chicken Restaurant.
You place your order at the counter and then they call your name when it's ready to be picked up.
The menu is very limited but the food is excellent. The chicken is very tender and flavorful. The side portions are adequate.
The fried sweet plantains were great!
There can be a wait on the weekends and we've been told that they can run out of chicken.

“Just okay, not a winner”
Reviewed April 6, 2014

I've tried eating here 3 times to really give it a fair shake. On paper it has everything I'm looking for for a quick lunch - spicy food, rotisserie chicken, veggies, quick service and even daily specials. But when it gets down to it, I'm just not a fan. The chicken is just okay. The veggies are just okay. It's filling and it's hot and it's a hearty meal, but it's just okay tasting.

The service is quick, even when there's a line and yes, there's quite a line at lunch time. I waited 10 minutes for a friend to arrive and the line was pretty long the whole time. The servers were semi-friendly. The decor is good for a lunch joint. My friend didn't make it. She'll have to go without me.

“Unexpected success in Raleigh”
Reviewed April 4, 2014 via mobile

I was here for business, we were looking for a Chipotle but ended up here, there were a lot of cars in the parking lot. They had a very efficient ordering system. The atmosphere was authentically Peruvian. I had a 1/4 chicken, black beans and plantains. For desert I had the flan. All very good, simple food. I especially enjoyed the ambiance. Nice people working there. Out back, there is a boxing school for added interest.

“Cheap but Great”
Reviewed February 11, 2014

You will want one of everything on the menu. Be sure to get the flan! The rotisserie chicken is wonderful and I usually do not care for most rotisserie chicken. The beans and rice are perfect! The clientele is the full spectrum. Some are local professionals and others are non-natives to NC. Some are with huge families and others are watching the football/basketball games on tv. You will see many families sharing whole chickens and side dishes. It is fun and delicious without breaking the bank.
