Went three times on visit to Raleigh...all great experiences!! Staff was fabulous...dont let the long lines turn you away...staff got though at least 15 sandwiches in less than 10 minutes. So many choices and all good.

This Which Wich location just opened up in the Brier Creek shopping center not too long ago, but people have been flocking to this place like they've never had a sandwich before. I was skeptical at first since it's a new place as well as I have never eaten at any Which Wich locations. Luckily, I got there around 11am-ish, so there were not many people in front of me.The place is fairly small, so indoor seating is limited. Prior to ordering, you have to find the paperbag with the sandwich type that you want (i.e.- turkey (bag #1), italian (bag #6), etc.) then mark off all the dressings/toppings you desire. I ordered the regular sized muffelata sandwich (toasted), and it was the sauciest, most flavorful, and filling sandwich that I have eaten in a while. If you answer the online survey at the bottom of your reciept, you will also recieve a free cookie next time! Enjoy!

Just tried Which Wich for the first time. In terms of price and quality, I'd say they're somewhat similar to FireHouse Subs, but I'd give Which Wich the edge. I like that you can customize your sub so extensively. (You can also save time by filling out your order on their webpage and printing it, then just hand it in when you get there instead of filling it out at the counter.) They did have an employee out front explaining the ordering process to those who had not been there before.

Subs are all the same price, they just vary by size (and any extras like double meat.) The "Regular" 7" was 5.25 and was plenty big enough. Chips and a drink bring it up close to $8.50 - a little more than I like to pay for lunch but, as I said, on par with Firehouse. The chip assortment includes a bag of "house" chips, which we didn't try because after picking up the bag, it felt like it was almost empty. We saw several other customers do the same thing.

You can have your sub toasted, which we did, and they came out wrapped up tight and quite warm. The bread and the fillings were all excellent.

Be aware that seating is pretty limited, and the tables they do have are packed closely together (and for some reason, are bolted to the floor!) You may need to walk all the way around the perimeter to get to the counter or drink machine because there's little room to pass between the tables. Doing a take-out might be the best bet.

Looking forward to going back and trying some of their other subs!

While I appreciate Jimmy John's speed, and will keep them as my Number Two, Which Wich just jumped into the Number One spot. I've been there several times now and taken my family too, everyone liked it.

The college-aged one liked that she didn't have to order the large sandwich to feel filled, she saved the second half of her regular size sandwich for later. At Subway, she usually orders a footlong and eats the whole thing. She also noted that she didn't feel it was necessary to order double meat to get an adequate sandwich. She's a bread, mayonnaise and meat kind of sandwich eater, so it's not excess veggies filling her up.

The thing which impressed me first about their sandwiches is the bread. Whereas most sandwich shops bread is fluffy and flattens or get soggy with wet ingredients, Which Wich's bread is substantial - it holds up to whatever you want on it. I like a substantial, chewy, crusty bread for my sandwich.

You need to at least try the House Chips, they're ruffle cut with black pepper and something else, a hint of lime maybe. I'm not a super-taster, so I could be wrong, but there's just a hint of something else. They're unique, anyway. I like them, but the kids gave them a shrug.

The last time I was there I ordered a chocolate malt, and it was the best I've had in a long time. There aren't that many venues where I buy milkshakes, since I try to keep them as a once-in-a-while treat, but I'll be ordering shakes from here again, I can tell.

The menu is pretty diverse, it includes all of the regulars, plus things like pb&j for the kids, their signature sandwich, the Wicked (5 meats and 3 cheeses) and you can get a breakfast sandwich all day, which I really like. Out of curiosity, and because I love a Monte Cristo sandwich, I ordered theirs and was disappointed. I ended up wanting to run home and whip up a real Monte Cristo. It was okay, and I ate it, but it wasn't the sandwich I had hoped for.

Which Wich has a unique ordering gimmick, which I like. It seems efficient - you choose a paper sandwich bag based on the type of sandwich, and mark with a sharpie, everything you want on your sandwich. When you're done you take it to the cashier to order and pay. Your sandwich comes back to you made exactly how you asked, in the bag you marked. You can draw on your bag and hang it on the community wall when you're done if you want to.

What could they do better? This is mostly a to-go place, so seating is limited. If you go during a rush, it may feel closed in and crowded.
