I have eaten here several times. Each time each vegetarian dish tasted distinctly different from the other. That is not always the case, as many of you know, when dining out. Nor were they especially greasy. What is most wonderful is that I always ask that the chef 'go easy on the salt' and I have been delighted with the results! Perhaps the price is a tad high but we go home with leftovers that are delicious the next day too. Certainly easy to park and conveniently close to Raleigh Airport.

Situated in an open air shopping mall, this restaurant was almost empty on the evening visited.

Oddly, with each main course ordered, the level of spice desired was asked. This is not usual in good UK Indian restaurants. A vegetable Jalfrezi delivered slightly overcooked vegetables, and the chicken and lamb dishes ordered appeared to have been made with the same base sauce (judging by the colour taste and texture). The various nan breads also did not appear to have been cooked in a tandoor.

I have been here multiple times, always for the lunch buffet, and always return stuffed and contented. Zayka has a lot of different items in the buffet, even for vegetarians, and more so during the weekend. Included in the buffet are some novel things, "chaat" appetizer, like Aloo Tikki or Pav Bhaji, mango lassi, bhel and pani puri. The entrees are typical but richer with butter/etc. Desserts are nice too, carrot halwa, rice kheer and one more.

I also used the party hall for my kids birthday party and it was excellent. Reasonable pricing, good sized room for around 50-60 people, great screens/projectors/music system.
