Great service, free airport shuttle and a breakfast that was served on plates- not plastic. Pleasant surprise. Room was booked on Priceline for a large discount so it was a tiny room but overall a great value. Would stay here again pre-flight. Beautiful building and facilities.

Stayed for two nights with my family. The hotel is in great shape, very clean.
Front desk staff was friendly.
Room was spacious, clean, had a very nice shower.
The only issue we had was that there was a "Thirty One" meeting going on while we were there. During the evening and morning, the lobby and breakfast area were very loud and busy, it was impossible to find a table. In my opinion, the group should have had a conference room so the lobby/breakfast would not have been so chaotic for other guests.

We stayed here the night before flying to CA. The hotel was quiet and nearby the airport and the room was fine. The people on the desk were terrific. We left our car here while we were on the trip. The van driver was on time (early flight we left left for the airport at 5 am) and the van driver and hotel made sure there was something for us to eat before we left. There was a nominal charge for leaving the car for 20 days. We have stayed here before and will continue to do so in the future.

No complaints here. Everything was clean and well organized, the staff were amazingly nice, and the shuttle will also take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius which helped out a bunch too. You guys rock!

We are never disappointed with Fairfield! The breakfast was hot and good, rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. I was pleased with the whole experience there. It was also close to everything we needed to do in the city.

We met here because it is a halfway point between Statesville and Wilmington. The Hotel was in great shape, clean, and the staff was friendly. The Continental breakfast was plentiful and very pleasing. We also used the Shuttle service to go the Angus Barn for dinner. Will Smith was our driver and was very courteous and professional. The front desk clerks, Desiree in particular, were friendly and called us by name. We would recommend this total to any one headed to the RDU area.

Okay first the good things. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. The staff is wonderful and pleasant. The hotel is literally 5 minutes outside of the airport and close to multiple restaurants. They offer a free continental breakfast and it is above average. It also offered several hot items including eggs, sausage, French toast, etc… The price was definitely inexpensive and appropriate for the area.
Okay so now for the not so good. Like many buildings in this area, this is part of the fast growth, get it up as quickly as possible even if you need to cut corners. The rooms are not insulated at all. It is one thing if you are staying in a hotel and the person in the room next to you is loud. However, the walls are so thin we could literally hear normal conversation quite clearly from the rooms on either side of us. We did not spend a lot of time in the room, therefore this was not a giant issue at first.
I am not a light sleeper. However, the first night we were there, the gentleman in the room next to us was snoring so loud, it shook the bed in our room. The second night we stayed was a weekend night and we heard the couple come in at approximately 2am. By 3am it sounded like cats dying next door. I will leave the rest to your imagination. However, after 2 sleepless nights we agreed to stay with family instead.
