Several parts of my itinerary were jumbled just prior to leaving on this trip, so when I arrived at the property, I realized I had arrived earlier than intended, i.e., before the 3 PM check-in time. Fortunately, front-desk staff were more than accommodating and had already prepared my corner suite on the top floor. The only trouble I had was with one of the room key-activated elevators, but others had that issue too; fortunately, it was set aright later that evening.
Everything in the room was in order and clean. After taking a nap, I meandered downstairs and partook of their manager's reception. Although the space isn't like the fairly florid atmosphere of a typical Embassy Suites, there was more than adequate space and comfort for the crush of folks who came downstairs.
Breakfast, as almost always at Embassy Suites, was delicious for what it was, i.e., something more satisfying than a continental breakfast yet healthier than Waffle House.
If I have further business to be done at Brier Creek, I'll do my best to stay here again.More
