I make my brother take me to the Farmer's Market every time I visit. I've been in Oct for pumpkins, apples, and squashes. I've been in July for peaches and veggies, and now in May for strawberries and plants. Half the market is fruits and vegetables, I'm told, from farms across the state. Half are plants. I couldn't resist sniffing the herbs and was rudely scolded by a vendor. So be aware of the signs posted of the do's and don'ts. But all the other vendors were very friendly and happy to offer samples or information about their produce or plants. Can't wait to visit Cary again so I can go to the Market again!!
