Owner description: Marbles Kids Museum is a hands-on, interactive destination that inspires children to be creative thinkers, active learners and confident individuals in today's world. With five galleries and two outdoor escapes, there is no shortage of activity for kids birth to 12 and their families. The campus also features the Wachovia IMAX Theatre at Marbles Kids Museum. This 267-seat giant-screen experience is the only 3D capable IMAX theatre in North Carolina.

We've been to a number of kids museums, and this is by far our favorite. Plenty to do for all ages. A big pirate ship, a bus to "drive", water play, a little kid area which is enclosed; upstairs has Moneypalooza which is tons of fun and keeps everyone busy. This place can be packed on the weekends.
I'd also recommend one of their sleep over events. Our Girl scout troop did an overnight here and it was great (staff was great; we got the museum to ourselves which was wonderful).

I love hands on museums and this one is great because it keeps little ones busy for HOURS. My 8 and 10 year olds still like to go to certain parts of Marbles (not the little kitchen, barn area, or the cute ambulance area...so sad), but they still love to play in the pirate ship, build with tools, and basically everything upstairs. It is also across the way from Tir na Nog Irish pub and we will go there for a nice family dinner (seriously, it is family friendly until late night).

It's a great place for kids to do a variety of things, but after awhile I had enough and was ready to run out of the building. It seems like there's just not enough space for all the visitors, but the kids don't seem to mind a bit!

This museum is awesome! My son is 7 years old and we had a great time! They have all types of interactive play from legos to kitchens to pirate ships to managing money..... too much to type! It is very reasonably priced. You will definitely want to spend a few hours here!

We've been here a few times now and this is by far one of my kids' favorite things to do in the area. The museum has lots to do, multiple different exhibits and everything is kid friendly. It can get crowded in the afternoons so I would definitely suggest going early before it gets wild.
