“Do NOT stay here if you want to sleep”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2010

We drove 12 hours to see what Raleigh had to offer us, and this hotel was NOT a good starting point. The main lobby is pretty nice, which made me think that rooms would be equally as nice... NOPE. It was RIGHT on the highway, a highway that looks just like any major route in any other state, not a good location. The room smelt awful, the bed was SO hard, we could not sleep at all, not to mention the pillows... They were so old the cotton on the inside was clumping together which = lumpy pillows. There was no comforter on the bed only a thin sheet. I know it's warm down there but we had to sleep with the A/C full blast just to drown out the highway. I am so happy we only paid $50 per night for 3 nights because if we spent anymore I'd probably ask for my money back. I reccommend staying further into Raleigh (if at all) the Sheraton looked nice downtown. Also, North Hills has a really nice hotel/shopping plaza. Overall I liked Chapel Hill and Cary more than Raleigh and definitely would not stay at this hotel again, you shouldnt either!

I booked this hotel for 2 nights last week and I am covered with bed bugs on my legs (the only part of my body I actually covered using the hotel's bedding. In addition to the bed bugs, the room was very basic and outdated and the carpet with filthy. the shower had very low pressure and hookers could be seen doing their business in the back parking lot with truckers. If you want to come home itching to death from beg bugs then give this place a go but I suggest you fork out 20-40 more and stay at a place that will not cause that to happen. There is no way this hotel is anything more than a 2 star and that is stretching.

The price was very good for the stay. The suits are very nice. Great customer service; front desk was very friendly. The window curtain in the room was a little dirty, but other than that the hotel was very clean. I will certainly stay there again.

We stayed for two days. I think they need to clean or replace carpet and get new towels and wash cloths for bathrooms. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. The price was good and employees were excellent. Probably would stay again but not for more than 2 nights.
Wall paper needs to be replaced.

If you are looking for a good night's sleep and a comfortable bed, bypass this hotel. Sure, it's location is VERY convenient to the highway but not worth the price or convenience. Paper thin walls, rock-hard beds, awful 90's decor, and a mediocre breakfast that begged the question, is this food OK to eat?

This hotel is right next to I440 Belt line. Rooms are big and clean. Check in and check out was a breeze and nice employees. There are a lot of channels to choose from. I stayed up all night because so much to watch. I will stay here again.

I love this Best Western Hotel. The service is great and the hotel and amenities are wonderful. I have stayed in many Best Western Hotels and this is one of the best.
