Description: Welcome to Coquette- a true French brasserie located in Raleigh's North Hills. Coquette, continuously open through the day and well into the night, pleases from the moment you enter. Chef Beth Littlejohn prepares top notch food with French flair and serves it in hip surroundings to a clientele ready to settle in for fun with friends. Coquette features an exclusively French wine list, the best of beers, and classic French cocktails. Traditional brasserie meals are accompanied by crusty, fresh house made breads and memorable desserts. Coquette is North Hills' only French restaurant located on the Circle. This French Raleigh restaurant offers lunch, dinner, brunch, and private event dining daily in a spectacular French setting. Bon appetit!

“Like a vacation in the middle of Raleigh!”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

I did not appreciate how authentic this spot is until my trip to Paris! This is such a nice little "vacation" in the middle of Raleigh. The atmosphere and the food are very authentic and it is lovely for an escape in the middle of the week! While there is no outdoor seating "per se" the windows are opened across two sides of the restaurant quite often to give you a "big city" al fresco dining experience. Lovely wine glasses (silly, perhaps, but I loved them) and nice cold white wines. A definite asset to the Raleigh dining scene.

“Excellent food and service for party of 40+”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

The backroom was perfect for our large group. We had open bar, pre-selected dinner (option of a beef, chicken, seafood, and vegetarian dinners with salad or soup, and choice of two desserts). The food was delicious! I did not hear a single complaint. The service was excellent! The dinner prices were very reasonable for the quality. I will definitely host another dinner party there!

“Lovely experienced”
Reviewed August 26, 2013 via mobile

Went here for the first time for a birthday dinner. Loved the food, loved the wine and loved the decor, we felt like we could be in France (well, as much as is possible in Raleigh). The chairs were uncomfortable, so recommend getting a booth if possible. Don't be tempted to order beef, order chicken - it is wonderful!

“Not that impressed”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

French onion soup was really good. Had beef bourguignon as main dish. Beef was extremely tender but dish was not something I would order again. Service was fair at best. This is the first and last time I will go to this establishment.

“What happended???”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Raleigh. One of my preferred dishes to order was the ratatouille. The last time I ordered it, it tasted like chopped vegetables with some tomato sauce thrown over it. Bland and disappointing. The service was only fair. I will give Coquette another chance, but still - what happened?
