“Busy day after Thanksgiving”

Enjoyed the exhibits. Not extremely busy. New Titantic exhibit was drawing a lot of attention. Good to see parents with children, but they need to control them.

“Excellent day trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2012

My mom was truly impressed by the whale skeleton, my daughter was immersed in the "science" of it all. It was a not to be missed feature of the area. To truly enjoy it allow at least a half day.

“Top Educational Center in Raleigh, North Carolina”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2012

The Museum of Natural Sciences is the one facility that really educates the expanding industries of the sciences in Raleigh, North Carolina. Raleigh can only expand from now on due to museums such as this one. It is the oldest established museum in NC and largest of its kind in the Southeast. It is also the most visited attraction site in the state. The Nature Research Center does a great job of engaging the public in understanding the scientific research that affects our daily lives. It partners with many leading government agencies and prestigious universities.

“Museum of the Future is HERE!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2012

We're all used to natural science museums with the required dioramas, and I LOVE these museums. The North Carolina Museum has innovative methods in theirs. The bonus with THIS museum is magic when you cross the bridge to the research museum where scientists and visitors interact. In a nutshell, visitors can participate in research and experiments, hold and study specimens, watch a wondrous display of science within the Daily Planet, and be enthralled by interactive displays. It's hard to explain, but there is also a mathematical representation (suspended by the ceiling and we could NOT figure out how it works) of bees moving, geese flying, vortexes, black holes, and more. It leaves you wondering HOW they do it, and you want to learn even more.

“Beautiful museum”

I went to see the Titanic exhibit, and it was one of the best exhibits I have ever seen.
The museum is very nice inside and has a lot of eco friendly components in the building.
